Always over on Carbs, but they are good carbs? this ok?

I have been having like 200-230 grams of carbs a day on a 1200 - 1500 calorie diet. It says I am going over in carbs however my carbs are MOSTLY coming from things like Whole Grain Oatmeal, Sweet Potatos, Fruit, Protein Bars and Slimfast drinks. (1 a day on slimfast and protein bar) I am getting lots of protein and enough fat as well, so it isn't an ALL carb diet (in fact lots of days it says I have too much protein as well, like 100 grams)

So is it bad to have that many carbs period, or is it only bad if it is white flour ect..?

That's not that high an amount of carbs in my opinion, as long as you are getting enough protein and fats. Complex carbs are much better than simple carbs but at the end of the day are still carbs. I wouldn't worry about it as long as you are eating at maintenance or slightly below.

I think that's too many carbs for a 1200 calorie diet.  That only leaves 200-400 calories for protein and fat.  You should add more protein and/or fat, and you can either eat fewer carbs and/or eat more calories.

If you are over on Carbs then you have to be under on either protein or fat.  Either way this is not good.

Look at your percentages to see where you are.  Keep fat and protein between 20% and 30% and carbs will take care of themselves.

I try to eat a ton of protein, but alot of my protein ALSO contains carbs.. same with the fats.. they contain carbs as well?

Meat, fish, eggs.  There are plenty of lower carb protein options.  If you're a vegan, try edamame-most of the carbs are fiber.

Eat less carbs, and more protein and fat!!

If you're consuming 200 grams of carbs (200 x 4 cal = 800cal) that only leaves like 400-700 calories left to come from fat and protein, making carbs = over 50% of your calorie intake.

Your diet is greatly unbalanced.

If you ate say 2000calories, then 200 grams carbs would be more reasonable. But in your current state you are sacrificing protein and fat in order to consume all those carbs.

Fat is important-- especially if you want to LOSE FAT!
