Just tried this today -- No, it's not peanut butter, and it has less protein, but it was definitely not bad, considering it has only 2.5 g fat per 2 T serving.
I wondered what anyone else thought.
I love the stuff-I have a jar of it in my pantry as we speak.
But you're right-it is definantly not PB, its more of a sweet-peanut-and-malt flavor. I mix it with regular PB because I love the sweet and salty peanuty contrast. :)

Lately I've been trying to increase my fat percentage, though, so I decided to eat some good old Jif. Imagine my surprise when I realized I would RATHER be eating better'n. It tastes better to me now. I actually became upset that the fat content is so low =[ haha.
But of course, everyone has their own preference.
I've never seen PB2 - where do you get it? What is it?
Gotta say, I am a PB or almond butter junkie. Have some about every other day....That's part of the reason I thought the Better'n was good for me - just to cut the fat down on days when I'm eating other things with fats.
at first it kinda creeped me out, it comes in jars and its powdered PB and you mix with water when you want to eat some... but to me it tastes JUST like real PB and its only 54 cals for 2 tbsp!!
