i personally love salmon too, although it's a bit higher in calories and fat (despite good fat) than white fish. however i feel like the fat content makes it more filling, thus you need to eat less of it and will keep you satiated for longer
best for dieters imo though is probably tilapia - love! :) steamed with a bit of soy sauce or just S+P
You should incorporate all kinds of fish into your diet. They're all great for weight loss and good health. (though some fish such as swordfish you shouldn't eat too often for it contains murcury)

All fish is VERY healthy for you when you're on a diet! Seriously, you don't need to think about calories because all fish is full of healthy fats that HELP YOU lose weight, so eat up and don't you dare feel GUILTY about eating fish! EVER!!!
