What was breakfast today (2/20/08)?

Grits, mm. But how do you eat them without butter or cheese? ;)
My breakfast was a yogurt, a small bran & blueberry muffin, a handful of reduced-fat cheez-its, and half a protein bar.
A banana
orange juice
4 slices of turkey
Zone protein bar and 20 ounces of bottled water![]()
1 Banana
Sprouted grain english muffin, 1/4 cup Egg Beaters, 1/2 oz cheddar

Gasp!
Get thee to a greasy spoon diner!!
j/k. Grits are finely milled white corn bits that have been dried. When you cook them in water, they are sweet and divine. Though I admit, I can't eat them without some butter, so they're a special rare treat. Not to mention the carbs..
sigh.
oh, and I had double fiber bread toasted (1 slice) with 1.5 tablespoons of organic creamy peanut butter.
Water to get my hydration started and coffee at work with stevia and french vanilla coffee-mate .
Yum.
I had a bowl of oatmeal with flaxseed, wheat germ, cinnamon, and organic soy protein powder, and some strawberries, blueberries, and blackberries, with some Stoneyfield Farms nonfat plain yogurt. Oh, and three glasses of water, hahah.
Well, I cut out the egg whites today! The soy protein was better than them anyway - it didn't make me feel STUFFED and BLOATED like they did. Being vegetarian is easier than I thought. I need to work on the yogurt though... I just can't bring myself to give it up. Ah well, at least it's Stoneyfield Farms (they're nice to their cows, x33)

best special "snow day" breakfast!
Original Post by jstone0415:
I'm a day late, but throwing it out there anyway. I had a bagel sandwich (I make the bagels myself, so they are smaller and healthier than store bought), with an egg fried with not fat, olive oil cooking spray, and a slice of 2% reduced fat cheddar cheese. It's higher than in calories than I used to eat, but it keeps me full for a very long time, and it's delicious!
That sounds great! How do you make your own bagels???
100% whole wheat bread dipped in egg/1% milk mix and cooked (french toast)
8oz. Tropicana OJ
2 lg strawberries
1/4C. Dannon light&fit strawberry yogurt
yummy :D and under 300cal. wooo-ee :D
