If I drive by one I may try it. I don't think it'll be very delicious but I'm intrigued nonetheless.

Burger King is gross, even in the fast food world.  I'm not surprised that they have a new monstrosity.

I can't understand why they're trying to ban large sodas in New York when no one here is making a peep about **** like that.

Ditto. It would be a one-time thing and I wouldn't go out of my way for it.

I considered trying Jack-in-the-Box's bacon milkshake until I found out they use bacon flavored syrup instead of the real thing. Bah.

sounds soggy to me!

Actually I expect it'll be pretty tasty. And awful for you. Might be worth getting one for the gimmick though.

According to several shows I have seen lately on the Food Network, the Travel Channel, and the Cooking Channel, bacon is increasingly becoming popular in many different foods.  I thought some bacon cupcakes looked really good.

I found out that I love the taste of chocolate-covered bacon, for example.

But I can't say that bacon in a sundae sounds appetizing.

I will eat that, only if people would pay me at least $50. Otherwise, no. I just don't see how bacon is good for sundaes. I like my bacon as it is.

I don't like bacon near things that are sweet. It sounds disgusting.

ETA: Bacon milkshake? UGGGGH /barf

;P

I like the concept of a bacon sundae. If executed well, I bet it would be amazing. But I don't trust BK to do it well. Their bacon is questionable to begin with. It's all flimsy and paper thin and... just wrong.

But fresh, crispy, good quality bacon sprinkled over homemade ice cream? Sounds good. Maybe maple or butter pecan ice cream.

I had a garlic-vanilla ice cream that, as weird as it sounds, was actually good.

I wouldn't eat the whole thing but I won't mind trying just a bite to know how it would taste.

Garlic ice sounds yummy! Has anyone had McDonald's french fires dipped into their soft serve ice cream? It truly is a culinary experience! Although its been a while since I've last had it, so I'm not sure if I would be able to stomach it these days.

GROSS. I can't even begin to think About what that looks like.. I mean i love bacon and icecream, but together.. Ick. maybe they'll make a burger cookie to dunk into it.

As a longtime vegetarian (and more recent pescatarian, if you're picky about it), I'm mystified by the sudden explosion of trendy, gimmicky bacon-flavoured stuff. I don't remember any food trends ever getting this popular this quickly. The bacon invasion is everywhere. I went to the liquor store the other day and they were selling bacon-flavoured vodka (as well as a smoked salmon flavour). Several trendy "artisanal" doughnut shops catering to hipsters and yuppies are selling maple-bacon doughnuts and cupcakes. I'm pretty sure there's someone selling bacon-flavoured ice cream around here, too. And all the stores are selling bacon-flavoured condiments like mayo and salad dressing. It's even caught on with totally un-trendy places like Burger King. It's surreal. I'd totally try it if I could find one that was simulated vegetarian bacon. Chocolate-covered bacon actually sounds fantastic!

Back when I used to eat a lot of fast food I'd do just that.  The salty fries with the sweet ice cream were a great combo.  Now that I've gotten used to eating healthy, nutritious food I don't think I could make myself eat it again.

Okay i work at BK.. I honestly do not like the sound of it but customers seem to like it a lot. And they first tested teh bacon sundane in tennesse before going through teh other burger kings. If you want to eat healthy at bk eat a No mayo grilled chicken sandwhich and be done wit  it!

Fast food bacon always sucks.

One second BK is promoting healthy menu items and the next... a bacon sundae. What kind of oxymoron is this?
