About twice a week I eat a 4oz can of mixed fruit in water or extra light syrup with other breakfast foods (oatmeal etc).
I've noticed in my food log that when I eat the 'canned fruit' it isn't counted as a fruit for my total fruits (one of my daily goals is to eat at least 2 fruits a day).
I realize that is best to eat fresh fruit, but sometimes it isn't always possible to do that hence the 'canned fruit'.
Appreciate any feedback ......
Yes it counts as fruit for your body but on CC about half the goals are based on wacky lists and so som fish do not count as fish and some things like some canned fruits do not count as fruit. Ignore it and know that you are doing great
Yes. Just stay away from the stuff in syrup.
Sure it counts as fruit, but it also counts for way too much sugar from all of that nasty syrup the put it in! Eat the fresh stuff!
Or eat the stuff canned in juice, and drain it. Not all canned fruit has syrup.
Yes, fresh is ideal, but if it can't be fresh, canned is not the worst you can do. Neither is frozen.
I wouldn't count it as fruit.

The side effects of allergy medications keep some people from using them. Natural remedies can be a great alternative, but some are more effective than others.
