Where did you get the burrito from and it's calorie information from?

Sounds like alot to me also.

Did you eat it with everything on it?

Vegetarian Burrito: black beans/rice/cheese/guacamole/salsa (1120 cal/42g fat/20g fiber) (from www.dwlz.com)

I can't get into the Chipotle site right now, but they also post nutritional information.

Shake it off and count it as a maintenance meal -- a day off.  You can't return it, now.

You'll survive, I promise.  Drink lots of water and go for a walk.

This is the Nutritional Information from the website

Never! never again!!! omg! How could you have been such a fool, Kate, done it to youself! ... I payed myself for this already - 30 minutes vigorous cycling - about 250 calories gone!:))) - and some weights, - dont know the calories burnt, but very very pleased about it:)) - and finally swimming - 30 minutes - about 180 calories gone the same way - so total 330 - cool...not so bad then, because i ate only half of this evil-burrito! goood girl - tomorrow i will give another half to somebody else - i cant afford another day of torture (even though i liked exercise). Thank you to everybody! - and btw - it was not that good - fast food is always bad for you.even what looks like healthy - tested on my self:)) thank you to everybody again for support. Good luck, guys!

ups - total burned 430 - excuse my math:))

.. Paranoid much?  Katenok3000, if you don't have a disorder now, it sounds like you're developing one.  Just relax.  One day of over-eating may actually help kick-start your body and metabolism.  I bet tomorrow you won't even notice anything on the scale.  Except maybe water weight from all that sodium.
Ok, you only ate 555 cals max anyway, and you're freaking out this badly?
i agree. You ate 555 max and you burned 430. 1100 calories is less than a third of a pound gained and that's only if that was on top of your daily limit. Don't worry about it. It's not healthy to freak out that badly about one day. Relax, now you know not to order that again.
Well, if she's only going to eat half, there's really nothing wrong with ordering it again...as long as she doesn't have an issue with fat or sodium.  Good veggies, black beans, guacamole (good fat).  It's really a good fast food, much healthier than the other fast food alternatives.

Sorry for giving a wrong impression:))) - I am just being very emotional... I at healthy weight and healthy lifestyle. Not to worry!:)) Was just really surprised about good looking fast food good (good fats, beans) be so much of calories - and it is a hand-sized burrito! I never eat fast food anyway, so it was just a try, so i guess - it didnt pass:)

Question - Is this the same in the best restaurant in Mexico? Just curious..

:)

You guys shouldnt jump to conclusions of katen having some type of disorder. Remember, your not looking at the persons face to see their reaction and you cant even hear their voice. My point is, you cant really tell peoples emotions online.
You freaked out like this and you only ate half of it???!!!

1.  Even eating half (550 cals) at one sitting is disturbing to a lot of people, that can disrupt an entire day's meal plan, no need to "yell" at Katenok3000

2.  I think we've all gotten so used to the "omg I just ate 2 calories past my goal" posts that it's difficult for some to see that Katenok was venting more than requesting absolution or saving.  Well -- the first post she was begging to be told she was wrong on the cals but the second post was tantamount to talking to herself through it

3.  The calories would probably be similar, even in the best restaurant in Mexico.  You are talking sour cream and guac -- two high calories, high-fat foods.

Ornellanicole is correct -- sometimes you have to look past the words and try to read into the emotions

- last time I ate the  same amount of calories at one time - i could not move and speak.

I guess my perspective is different.  550 cals. would be a normal dinner for me.  1100 cals. unexpectedly, yeah that would bother me.  But the OP implied she ate the whole thing.

1100 is probably right or close to it.  The tortialla alone is 300+.  The beans are probably 150.  The cheese is probably about 100-150.  Sour cream at maybe 100.  Guacamole at probably 150.
i think i would be bothered too if i ate half of a veggie burrito...550+ calories for half of a burrito is way too much, its more then my whole lunch lol

next time you go out, look up the calorie content online first and then go into the place knowing what you want to get.
I think a big part of it is finding out after the fact - causes a reaction in me too when you dont see it coming.

Love black beans and killer healthy but true they carry there calories.  I agree that I would not guess 1100 cal for a veggie burrito and be mightily surprised between that and my calorie guess would be closer to 550 for the whole thing..
The calorie estimate on those burritos is probably correct. Chipotle burritos are massive, but sooo delicious and jam packed with yummy fillings. I usually order mine without sour cream or cheese, but with guacamole (cut down on saturated fat, increase good fats) and then I try very hard to find the willpower to cut it in half and save half for the next day. It sounds like you did pretty well - don't worry too much about it, and now you know for next time.

This is the part of her reaction that was the most disturbing part, for those of you who are reacting to our reaction.  The fact that she felt she had to pay for this by exercising the calories off.  We don't know her stats so we don't know her allowance, but she does admit to being at maintenence level later in this thread, so 555 calories should be just fine for someone at maintenence, especially if they are a regular exerciser.

If a person feels they have to exercise their calories off in order to justify eating, or that they don't deserve to eat unless they exercise, that is a big red flag.

anyways.
i can understand her reaction.  that's alot of calories for one burrito, and it would've shocked me, too.

overeating has definately inspired me to work it off, but has never inspired me to get rid of it in an unhealthy manner.

Allergy Remedies
Is It Possible to Go Natural?
The side effects of allergy medications keep some people from using them. Natural remedies can be a great alternative, but some are more effective than others.
