Don't list the calories, don't list the exercise, don't list portion sizes.

None of those pesky numbers, since we all are different.

One person can need 1400 a day, while another can need 2,500, and it can be really triggering to see someone ate a lower number than yourself.

Therefore, just list the food you ate. This will help us understand the value of eating healthy food (for the nutrients), while also indulging moderately in empty calories when we want. I don't know about you, but I'm aiming for 90% healthy foods - and 10% empty calories. ;)

Also, do not post here if you are starving yourself. I'm not interested in the details, it is only going to get others riled up, and it is triggering to those of us trying to recover from an eating disorder. Okay, thank-you.

Here's me for today:

Breakfast: slept far too late
Lunch: sandwich (100% whole wheat bread, garden burger veggie medley patty, soy dijon "mayo", pickle, lettuce), dried apricots, diet soda, tums, vitamin
Snack: apple, no salt added raw almond butter
Dinner: corn, bell peppers, sugar-snap peas, lettuce, firm tofu, soy dressing, tums
Snack: soy delicious peanut butter zig zag! yumm.

Aw, shiguresflower, just get back in the saddle tomorrow!  I've had those stress days too.  =)

As for me:

Breakfast - egg substitute omelette filled with sauteed bell peppers

Lunch - tuna spaghetti

Dinner - tuna melt sandwich (I guess today was tuna day?  lol), salad (leaves only - I don't like croutons but the restaurant gave them to me anyway), French fries

Hey..let's keep this going! It is really interesting to read what everyone ate. Everyday, those who want to can post what they ate (but the same rules apply: no portion sizes, no numbers, and please don't post if you are starving yourself - unless you are in recovery from an ED and are TRULY trying your hardest to get healthy).
I had some leftover carrots and broccolli for breakfast, along with tuna. Then throughout the day I snacked on grapes and watermellon. For lunch I had some more tuna and rice crackers and strawberries. And for dinner I'm having some grilled salmon and veggies.
Breakfast - Oatmeal, apple

Snack - Kashi GoLean Crunchy Bar (only thing i had lol)

Lunch - Turkey sandwich (wheat bread, turkey, onion, tomatoe, green peppers, lettuce) w/ apple

Snack - Apple

Dinner - Turkey sandwich (see above) w/ apple

Snack - Oatmeal, apple

Something ive noticed about myself... i have an addiction to apples........ if i dont eat one after a certian period of time, i get light-headed from the lack of sugar, i know its bad but i dont really know what to do about it. i know my diet is kinda... ehh... but suggestions would be gooooood. I'm gonna add veggies to it instead of the kashi and some of the fruit (kashi only had today cuz its all i had at home), but other than that anything you can say?

thanks
Hey ninja, apples are healthy! If you think you are getting a headache when you go to long without one, most likely you get the headache due to needing food in general, not due to needing the sugar in an apple. I think you aren't eating enough food and calories. I estimated 1130 at max.
hhmmmm A Benadryl for breakfast with a bottle of water  ( bad allergy attack )

Breakfast--Kashi Golean cereal with Skim milk

Snack--Sugar free chai with skim milk

Lunch--Beef Jerky, light n fit yogurt with soy nuts, carrots

Dinner--chicken breast drizzled with honey, sauted mushrooms

Snack--smoothie made with yogurt, raspberries, and juice.
Note: I usually eat better than this (see: more veggies) but I'm moving in 8 days and am refusing to go grocery shopping until I'm in my new place because I don't want to move a fridge full of food.  The only homemade food I have left is brown rice with tofu and veggies that are leftovers and if I have to eat that stuff one more time this week I'm gonna hurl.  With that said....

Breakfast: Puffins cereal with Silk light vanilla soymilk (oddly enough, this is amazingly good when microwaved for 90 seconds, especially when the weather starts to suck as it's doing right now)

Didn't really have a lunch - I've been kinda munching throughout the day: Had natural PB&J on flaxseed bread and a Health Valley chocolate tart bar so far.  I'll probably eat a Luna Bar at some point before leaving work.

Dinner: Not much left in the house except canned beans, that tofu rice stuff, bread, and cereal.  Dinner might end up being cereal, and I'll probably have some toast or something if I get hungry again.

Left enough cals for a few drinks later.

I cannot WAIT to hit Whole Foods again.  8 days and counting...
UPDATE: Those Buggers tricked me and took me to Pizza Hut.
So For lunch I had two Peices of Vegy pizza, one Cheese pizza, and a small salad with minimal dressing and lots of hot pepper flakes on it.

I feel pukey.
