I know there must be a logical explanation for why....
Fiber One cereal is packaged in two separate "sacks". Everytime I pour myself a bowl, I always wonder this. I know someone out there in CC land will know. I have an insatiable sense of curiosity to the little things that are trivial in life. This being one. But hey, if it ends up being an "answer" on Jeopardy, I'll know it!!!
I love original Fiber One and think it's interesting that the other flavors - honey clusters, for example - is packaged like regular cereal. My husband thinks the original comes in two bags because it's so gross that you'll inevitably want to throw your own bag away and you still have an unopened bag to give to someone you want to torture.
I actually love it and I love the packaging because it's so random. Maybe it's because you don't need very much to fill you up and it's a solution for longer shelf life?
Im assuming freshness, but it could be for packaging for travel too. The stuff is kind of a shape that could make the box buldge during travel from settling at the bottom. got me :D Do they package grapenuts the same way? It just occured to me.. maybe they sell the half size also, thus saving themselves cost by using one filling step.
