I thawed some thin-sliced pork loin on thursday. It is now Monday and I was wondering if they're still fresh? I usually don't let meat sit in the fridge for more than a couple of days.
What's the rule for pork?
Just eat them by the sell by date (or freeze them).
Fresh pork only lasts two or three days, as GI Jane said. However, you said that you thawed it on Thursday? If you bought it fresh, froze it, and then thawed it, you've already used up some of its two or three days of freshness before you froze it. Really, you should always eat meat within a day of defrosting it.
