What are some low calorie, junky snacks?

Quote  |  Reply

I'm trying something new where I eat well the entire week except for on a cheat day. I've never done this before...I've always just monitored my calorie intake, but now I'm making sure that I meet my macros and get enough vitamins.

For my cheat day, I'm planning on eating purely junk food. I don't want to eat too much of one thing, I'd rather eat a little of many different things, so what are some junky foods that don't have crazy high calorie counts? Please no diet type foods.

For example, Rice Krispies Treats are only 90 cals per bar.

Just to add, when I say that I'm eating "well" during the week, I'm not depriving myself of food that tastes good. I'm just eating cleaner than I would on a cheat day.

* Popcorn

* Frozen Yogurt

* Pretzels

* Pudding

* Jerky

* McDonald's soft serve ice cream and apple pies are < 300 cals

Soft serve is a good idea...yum! Thanks for the response :)

I love these things called potato straws, they also have apple and cheese straws too. They are a sensible portion option at 38 straws for only 130 calories. They are crunchy like potato chips but have a lot less fat. They are a "junky" yet semi-healthy option. lol

Veggie stix/Potato Straws 38 of them for 130

Beef Jerky, they even have 80-110 calorie packs

Special k cracker chips(30 for 110cals) and i dip them in salsa or queso(cheese/salsa mix)

Pudding

Pretzels

Frozen Yogurt

Edy's light churned icecream

Some sugary cereals are low in calories if you don't care much about sugar

Goldfish

Quaker granola bars

Popcorn, and try adding the new popcorn seasonings(nacho cheese, ranch, bbq, butter, white cheddar, etc)

Animal crackers

jello

pudding cups

rice cakes --caramel, cheese, apple cinnamon flavor

dry cereal

kashi crackers

single serving pringles (100 cal packs i think)

granola bars

gummy candies ~120-140 per serving

hard candies ~20 cals per piece

york peppermint patties ~ 140 cals for a large one

mini 3 musketeers ~25 cals per piece

pretzel m&ms
