Pasta!  I am a sucker for noodles (elbow, bowties, penne, whatever) sprinkled with salt and pepper and 3 tbsp of parmesan cheese.

I eat this for dinner once or twice a week at least!

A high calorie food is also nuts and peanut butter.  I'm allergic so I can't eat it... But I still LOVE it!
Pasta is good. Mac and cheese, made healthy of course, would be a good way to gain weight. Granola, peanut butter, nuts, spaghetti, chocolate pudding made from silken tofu...

Any foods you like can be made healthier, more calorie dense, any way you want it! Just tell us some of your favorite foods, and tell us how you'd want them altered - up the calories, make it healthier, etc. :)
just because you need to gain weight does not give you an excuse to stuff yourself full of unhealhty foods. even the most skinniest person can have the most clogged arteries.
I'm not asking for unhealthy foods... That's not something you have to ask about. Duh. Ice cream, cake, brownies etc. are not favorites of mine. I have a non-existant sweet-tooth.

What I'm asking for is yummy entrees and/or snacks, not desserts. Preferrably low-fat and healthy, but it's okay to relax once in a while.

While I appreciate your obvious concern, butterfly, there's no need to worry about my arteries. I can assure you I keep them in quite good order.

As far as favorite foods go... hmmm

I like basically everything - not a picky eater at all. I try to eat mostly vegetarian.. I love morningstar sausage and bacon. Some other of my favorites foods are eggs, smoked salmon, indian food, oatmeal, cereal, pita bread, spinach, anything cinnamon or garlic, soymilk (allergic to regular milk and cream cheese), watermelon, and strawberries. Not as big of a fan of most cheeses, nuts, and smoothies.
XD At her weight, who cares if it's unhealthy anyway? And no offense, I'm pretty sure she knows what's at least somewhat healthy since she's on this site.

hmm...Do you want recipes or store-bought entrees?
Hmmm... you could add PB and honey in your oatmeal... Idk I guess I am not too good at ideas.  :(  Sorry.  I thought some would come to me, but .... nope, not really.

Maybe if someone has like, casserole or pasta dishes you could prepare?  Try adding a little EVOO to your veggies when you cook them, or to your salads.  It's calories and good fat...

Good luck!
Um it matters a lot. I am underweight but am commited to eating healthy as once i get to normal weight, i dont want to be feral and sick and exeercise it all off again. My blog mini spoons has super easy recipies, most is healthy, also low cal, so just follow some of my weight gain tips for the recipeis (will post this evening on how to make my recipies high cal healthy)
Raw nuts, rice and pasta are what you'll have that dieters dont. Also try an energy/health dirnk such as sustagen (or equiv)
Ensure.

And lots of it.

=)
Sustagen is like ensure, with more calcium.
Ok, things you can do.
Have skim milk, but add 1 tsbsp of skim milk powder a cup. You wont taste the difference but its a boost to calcium/protein and calories.
You want to increase your intake of healthy calories and keep the unhealthy ones the same (if you have an exisitng good diet)
Snack on raw nuts (cashews and almonds) and add dried fruit to your cereal and porridge
Altho theoretically you can eat whatever, this doesnt mean have a bowl of cocoapops for brekkie so you're hungry in 10 mins. You also want to be able to funtion proplery. If you're lost so much weight chances are your body is lacking nutrients so make sure you're getting enough calcium and iron every day.
Fruit is great and healthy, but stick to teh higher cal bananas and mangos rather than the watermelon, as most of watermelon is water and bananas are more nutritious.
Try some peanut butter. Real stuff, not kraft/skippy.
Still exercise. Make sure whatever you burn off you eat back
Icecream isnt out of the question, but you mas as well get a lighter version (not nessesarily diet, just reduces fat, for health) and have with some 100% berry preseves/jam and cereal.

Allergy Remedies
Is It Possible to Go Natural?
The side effects of allergy medications keep some people from using them. Natural remedies can be a great alternative, but some are more effective than others.
