I LOVE pancakes. Any kind, any type, whatever kind of pancake you set on my plate I'll devour it. But, problem is, all the pancake recipes I encounter are ~500 calories for just a few 4-5! I don't mind mini small pancakes, with pancakes I love quantity over quality, so can anyone shoot me a recipe that will be relatively low calorie for like tons of them, heh? :]

I love pancakes to so in order to make them at least a bit more healthy (and I have found they become more tasty as well), I add shredded carrots and/or shredded potato. Sometimes I make dinner pancakes with a bit of shredded cheese on top, and in the batter... spinach. The sky is the limit for pancake lovers hehe.

just a couple of tips for the pancake making...add your chocolate chips or pb chips AFTER you put them on the grill (or in the pan)...otherwise you might end up getting a burned chocolate effect...which isn't quite so hot...also, for apple/cinnamon...try adding some sugar free applesauce to the mix...just cut back a little on your wet element...it really is good...couldn't tell you the measurement, i cook what i'm thinking at the moment...but my kids love them that way...

BTW...try searching bisquick pancake recipes...they have a "heart healthy" mix and there are TONS of recipes on the site.

Good luck!
