Things I eat daily:

  • Rice Quinoa/Barley, microwaveable packets of Ben's ready rice (for portion control!)
  • Beef ( Steak, Ground beef etc.) ground turkey meat cooked up in the frying pan with taco seasoning! make a taco salad with the ground turkey, light sour cream, sprinkling of low fat cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, peppers, some black olives... YUM
  • Poptart  Granola Bars, Protein Bars...
  • Spanish  ? :)
  • Yogurt have you tried greek yogurt? tons of protein and delish! i buy it in bulk containers and go through it really fast.
  • Corn yum. i love to mix corn with steamed broccoli for added bulk
  • Bagel with cream chesse yum. can't be beat. a trick i learned is to scoop out some of the inside part of the bagel.... you still get the crunchy outside but spare quite a few calories
  • Bacon, Egg and Chesse turkey bacon, eggs, light string cheese!!! string cheese makes the world go round.

This is over a week span ! I needed to make this list to see where I can improve !

So need help with sodium intake ! And for the sodium, have you tried salt substitute? It takes some getting used to, but it's so worth it once you make the switch! No sodium in the stuff!

Things I eat daily- 1# 6 egg whites, 1 cup oatmeal. #2 1 cup brown rice and protein Shake. #3 6 oz chicken, 1 c broccoli. And 4 egg whites, # 4. Same as 3. #5 protein Shake 1 tap natural peanut butter on a plain rice cake.

Lunch and dinner Grilled chicken, fruit, salad with feta cheese, low fat wheat crackers, vegetables grilled in the wok (broccoli, carrots, mushroom, onion, squash, zucchini --any combination of these), sandwich made with olive oil mayo and whitewheat bread, green beans, corn

Things I pretty much eat daily or every other day:

-Tofu

For me recently its been

  • bagel (either cinnamon & raisin or plain with smoked salmon)
  • toast
  • bran flakes with milk
  • berry fruit salads

Breakfast: Cheerios with almond milk, bagel, smoothie

Lunch: chicken salad, soup

Supper: chicken, pork, pizza

Snacks: fruits (apple, pineapple, grapes, blackberries, strawberries, raspberries), granola, yogurt, cheese

I would cut out all or most processed foods. Eat foods in it more natural state. Watch if your eating too much starchy carbs/breads. Keep those low. Cut out all sugars if you can. Good foods-- Oatmeal, flaxseed together for breakfast -high fiber & filling. watch your portion sizes. fruit & veggies in their natural forms no juices. grilled chicken or fish. whole wheat toast with a sugar free jam. protein powder shake with some frozen fruit. 1 egg & 3 egg whites with spinach. a& a piece of toast with I can't believe its not butter spray. Veggies are low cal & you can eat a greater amounts. If you have to drink a soda -limit to 1 diet soda a day. Drink green tea as much as you want & water. Green tea speeds up your metabolism & burns fat they say. Coffee black if you can stand it.

These are some things I try to stick too. When Im good & watch my calories I lose weight. Sticking to a good plan & watching the calories is the key.Wink Thanks!

Some variety of bean (red, navy, black or garbanzo). Brown rice. Whole eggs and/or eggbeaters. Almonds. Chicken breast/salmon/pork loin/ground turkey. Sometging leafy and green. Laughing cow light cheese triangles. Iron, calcium, CoQ10, fish oil and a multivitamin supplements.
