Too much yogurt??

Quote  |  Reply

Can one consume too much yogurt?  I LOVE the plain, non-fat stuff and eat alot of it.  How much is too much?  Any adverse affects?

You can have too much of anything... or, more accurately, not enough of everything else.   If you're eating lots of yoghurt and also getting plenty of other foods then you're probably OK.  If someone was just lazily spooning down yoghurt and eating nothing else then they'd be getting an imbalanced (unhealthy) diet.   There are downsides to getting too much calcium in the diet so don't take any calcium supplements if you eat a lot of dairy products

I love yogurt, too, but I try to limit my intake of it because of all the added sugars (and or sucralose/aspartame).  Make sure you're checking the labels!

I have similar concerns as well. I wonder if you can eat too much of it....

And can I let plain non-fat yogurt replace skim milk.....
(itd be weird for me, cause ive never gone without milk in my life!! but i dont see any advantages of milk over yogurt?)

Allergy Remedies
Is It Possible to Go Natural?
The side effects of allergy medications keep some people from using them. Natural remedies can be a great alternative, but some are more effective than others.
