for those of you who have 50 or more pounds to lose
I'm trying to hit my 100 pound weight loss . I need 50 Pounds to go. I'm looking for anyone who wants to join me with this long journey. Weigh ins will be only once a month, measurements would be lovely. i think that monitoring weight and measurements once a month would be more of a appropriate time frame to see results. If anyone interested, weigh ins will be every month feel free to choose any day of the month that is convenient for you. So start off by posting your current weight/measurements. Good luck everyone
wow! way to go on your weight loss; 60 lbs!
My weight loss is about how it's always been. I'm really excited for a week or so and then I get back into my old routine. It's been a busy/stressful week so I hope this next one is better!
good luck everyone!
Welcome roxie946!
Thanks so much morenaxv3! I'm trying to get healthy before getting pregnant too! I have one son who is 13 months old, but I was pretty close to pre-eclampsia with him and the only thing I can control (so that it won't happen again) is my pre-pregnancy weight.
Here's to losing weight for the babes!
measurements for this month

I don't have a scale so not sure about the weight difference, need to look into that.
I'm excited to see everyone's progress reports!

Ok you guys i have a problem. For the last 2 weeks i have been on this site logging everything i eat and drink. Walk/Jogging about 2 to 3 miles a day trying to increase my speed and endurance. I have also been keeping track off all of my inches that I lose, but for some reason i cant continually lose weight. The first week i still yo- yoed alittle but i still lost about 2 lbs and this week i looked today and i am .4 lbs below what i started with. I know that there were 3 days that I couldnt control as much because i was away from home but with all the water i have been drinking and excercise i have been doing i shouldnt of gained back the 3 lbs i lost right???
soo i guess im just wondering if you guys had any tips for continually losing weight so i dont yo-yo
hey roxie! all i can recommend is to keep things going.... keep exercising and watch not only the portion sizes but the types of food you eat. i doubt you gained the 3 pounds you loss the previous week, in order to gain that amount you would have to have ate 10500 calories over your maintnence calories... so unless you did that, i would say its more like water weight... either from consuming to much sodium or from working out excessively. also when did you weigh yourself. try to weigh yourself first thing in the morning after u use the restroom but befor you eat, this is the most accurate reading you can get... just keep up the good work and youll get the results you looking for... i personally have loss 60 pounds and have maintined tht 60 loss for a year now, i occasionally gain 3-5 pounds but usually it goes away in a week or two... you can do it, just dont give up and be persistant!
welcome dccole and islandgirl... welcome to our group... feel free to ask queestions are tell us your frustations
... maybe even share tips you have... cant wait to hear from you guys soon
hey everyone! hows your memorial weekened going? i decided to take a week off of retricting myself and counting calories due to the fact that i been doing so for a year now and i needed a break.... well after memorial weekened im going back to counting calories and i hope to average 10 pounds a month... i know im asking for a big loss but i need to challenge myself and push a little harder... i managed to lose 60 pounds is the past year and i hope to achieve a weighloss of atleast 80-100 pound in the next cuming year... keep up the good work and hope to be hearing from you soon!

The side effects of allergy medications keep some people from using them. Natural remedies can be a great alternative, but some are more effective than others.
