Let's Do This! Join our challenge, lose the weight, have support. Log your stats and monthly goal. Goals can be weight-based or activity-based. Feel free to log daily or weekly, whenever you feel the need to vent or share information. Pick a weigh-in day and weigh-in each week. Set a realistic, attainable goal. At the end of the month, we'll see who met their goal!
I'm in again, thanks Langey :) I will weigh in on Friday's with my first weigh-in this Friday. Hoping spring gives me that extra push I need!
I'm in, since March was a HUGE disappointment! I'll be weighing in on Thursdays. Will update my CW and my CGW tomorrow so I can have an accurate account! LET'S DO THIS!!

I will weigh in Fridays because NO WAY am I making my official weigh-in day my worst weight day of the week by doing it on Mondays! LOL I will have my month end total on Friday, April 27 to start a new May challenge on April 30th - June 1st.
I'll be back HERE Friday to post and beileve I may be due on tomorrow for the March challenge.

I'm in again, but not personally closing out March until Saturday, which is my weigh in day. So I'll let you know my goals after I weigh-in. I absolutely love having this challenge...it keeps me going and I love reading what everyone has to say. It helps me know I am not the only one with ups and downs. We got this! ![]()

Remember, if at first we don't succeed . . try, try again! I just was giving my son this speech last night, after being cut from the high school golf team (felt so bad for him). I told him to work harder this summer and try again next year - that if you want something BAD enough, you have to WORK for it! Nothing comes easy or free, right?? A reminder to myself as well!
I'm in. I lost like 25 lb with calorie count a few years ago and put it back on once I stopped counting. Sick of carrying this weight when I know how to get rid of it. I want to drop 7 lb in April at least. I will weigh in Fridays as well (should we all agree on a day?) starting on the 30th. See you ladies on Friday!
Just got an email that says this:
This incident happened recently in North Texas. A woman went boating one Sunday taking with her some cans of coke which she put into the refrigerator of the boat. On Monday she was taken to the hospital and placed in the Intensive Care Unit. She died on Wednesday. The autopsy concluded she died of Leptospirosis. This was traced to the can of coke she drank from, not using a glass. Tests showed that the can was infected by dried rat urine and hence the disease Leptospirosis. Rat urine contains toxic and deathly substances. It is highly recommended to thoroughly wash the upper part of all soda cans before drinking out of them. The cans are typically stocked in warehouses and transported straight to the shops without being cleaned. A study at NYCU showed that the tops of all soda cans are more contaminated than public toilets (i.e.). full of germs and bacteria. So wash them with water before putting them to the mouth to avoid any kind of fatal accident.
I bet some of us will stop drinking pop. Pick me!
LOL - I gave up pop a while ago! Thank goodness.
However, although it is a very good idea to wash canned goods before opening/consuming them, this story is part of email 'scarelore' and isn't true (though Leptospirosis is linked to infected rat urine).
Ish! Just the thought of it is still gaging me. I need to give up pop. I have maybe 1-2 cans a week, so not bad. But I still need to quit drinking it.

I would like to join in on this!!! I will weigh in on Wednesdays since that is when I started my weight loss journey 3 weeks ago.
My goal for the month of April is 10 pounds. I am setting low, but hope to beat that. LOL
Looking to lose 4 and hoping to lose 5 in April. My 22nd bday is at the end of the month and I'd LOVE to see 122/123 by then but I'm guessing my weight loss will be pretty slow after 124ish. Final goal 115 or so? Not going by a number but how I feel/clothes fit after 120. Just want to fit into my clothes from 2 years ago!!
