Well, I am down 2.4 lbs this week but after being up .2 last week (ttotm) it's an average of 1.1 lbs. a week, I am a little disapointed but I am going to buckle down, cut back on the processed foods, cut the work outs and the cals a bit. This weeks weight loss goal is 2 lbs.

To date I've lost 81 lbs. I am 9 lbs. from my first major goal of 199 by June 27th. Sarah

I am adding a big THANK YOU to all of you for your support.

*THANK YOU* *THANK YOU* *THANK YOU* Sarah

4/4: 170.2 lbs (-.4)

4/11: 168.8 lbs (-1.4)

total lost: -5.4 lbs!! yay!!

Keep it up Sarah!! You're so close!!

No3mie: Hey if you over indulged and still managed to lose I think that's a very good thing!!

LW: 169.5

TW: 165!

Yay!  Finally some progress:)  I stayed really focused this week and increased the cardio. I had 4 days that I ate out for lunch for work, and at conferences and such so there wasn't a choice in what was served.  I logged my calories first thing when I got home and planned my evening from there, which was nothing more than fruit more than once! Total of 5lbs so far, which after a year or so of no progress is looking great:)

Sarah, you are going to be at your goal in no time!  Way to go.

I have really enjoyed this forum, keeping in touch with everyone and watching the progress.  Thanks to everyone for keeping me focused (and honest).

Not my best thus far, but still a loss...

Last week: 180.1

This week: 179.1

I will take it!  Keep up the great work ladies!  I may not post often, but I think about you all everydayLaughing

Congrats everyone!

Well a confusing week. I went to weigh myself on Monday and I was up 3 pounds. In which there was no possible way for that to happen. I did ease up a little on my work-out, but monitored my calories. I only had 1 day that I went over by 150 calories. So, I switched up my work-out on Monday and decided to hold off a little on my stats, so here they are:

SCW: 140

LW: 135.2

CW: 134.2

GW: 125 (which of course isn't going to happen since we only have one more week :(

I am not even sure if this weight is correct due to the scale going way up and way down. I guess we will see next week huh?

Congrats everyone on your success!!

I think that would be a great idea! It holds me accountable.

I do have a question though: I can't even imagine losing more that 2 pounds per week, what are those of you who are luckily enough to lose 3 or more pounds doing? Are you guys working out everyday burning a ton of calories?

I never go over my calorie goal, and normally range from a 500-600 calorie deficiency (and I know that my weight loss is about right 3500=1 pound), but boy would I love to lose just a little more weight per week. It takes so long to get to my goal going this slllooowww...

If you guys are game, I propose we keep this forum going beyond April 25th!

I honestly look forward to my weekly weigh-in with all of you lovely ladies :) It keeps me motivated to hear about your successes and struggles. And I get genuinely excited to hear about your losses!

It's difficult to discuss weight loss with my friends and family... although they are aware and mostly supportive of my efforts, the calorie counting and weekly weigh-ins is something they find obsessive and over the top. This seems to be the only place I can vent about my week of emotional eating, or my excitement over a string of successful calorie deficit days! You all understand because you're going through it too.

So, before I get all group huggy... you guys interested?

Hey I am willing to keep it going as a 1 year challenge, starting April 25Th and ending the following April 25Th for all interested party's, who want to reach a goal or just stay on track with maintenance.

This makes me feel better, even though I’ve only lost 2.2 lbs since I started working out 3 weeks ago, I’ve lost 3 inches,  1" off my bust, 1/2" off my waist, and 1.5" off my hips. Awesome! I happy to know that my body is getting smaller and I am apparently adding mussel, this is why I am not seeing the numbers. Phew! Sarah

I am definitely game for a year:)  I was just thinking about trying to find another challenge after we were done and wasn't too excited about having to find one that fits as well as this one!

Slardo, I have found that it takes my body a couple weeks to adjust to different workouts and calorie intakes, thus my first week of real loss after 5 weeks!  For me, it tends to be a slow start, a couple big weeks, and then level off to 1 or 2 pounds a week.  And, I increased my calorie deficiency to 800 or more a week in the past two weeks.

And no3mie: I get the same reaction from people.  They are supportive of my efforts but can't believe I track calories and activity each day.  But I really like it.  Makes me constantly aware of what I am eating and I have made better choices.

SW: 164.0

Week 1: 156.0

Week 2: 157.2

Week 3: 155.8

Week 4: 155.6

Week 5: 156.8

Oh boy.  Not good, not good.  As I mentioned last week, I was out of town all of this week.  I went to Hawaii for a job interview and basically I did not count calories and I did not work out.  Sooo, huge bummer.  I gained 1.2 lbs from last week. (I hope hope hope some of that is water weight!)

But, I am SO glad to hear about making this forum a one year challenge!!!  I would love to be a part of that, especially after such a disappointing week.

Congrats to everyone for working hard!  Keep it up!

I'm game!! I do love the weekly weigh ins they really keep me in check and motivated!!

Hey Ladies,

I am on vacation for the next week so no logging or weighing in for me this week!  Good luck to everyone else and I will check in again next Sunday!

Andrea
