Woooohoooo!!  I'm so ready to do this.

Hi Everyone!

Thought we could start out with introductions.  Please share whatever personal details you'd like to!

I'm Angie.  I'm 41 years old, 5'4" and have been using CC since May 09.  Starting weight was 205 lbs and am currently down to 178 lbs.  I love groups and challenges and use them often to help me keep on track.

Looking forward to getting to know everyone!!

I watched Biggest Loser too and it really gets me emotional and yet motivated at the same time!  I am doing well with the cardio this week as I go straight to the gym after work before going home.  If I went home it would not happen:)

I am very proud of everyone for the big cardio committments!  Keep it up!!!

ahhh, my beloved green team!! i am sooo sorry for being a terrible teammate and completely mia on our team board - i've been pretty sick the past few days (since sunday Frown) and i haven't been doing much (except for sleep! Laughing). anywho, i'm going to the doctor today after work to see what the heck is going on (although i have a strong feeling it's the flu Yell). hopefully once we figure out what the problem is, i can start taking steps in the right direction to get all better.

anywayyy, i'm off to another training session (yes, i'm super sick and still at work - i know, if my boss knew, he'd kill me! i have been taking the necessary precautions to make sure other people don't get sick though (just in case i do have the flu)). things are gonna slow down tomorrow, so i'll check back in and formally introduce myself tomorrow, promise!

have a wonderful wednesday!! Cool

Hi everyone!!

I am new to the Green Team..This is not my first BL challenge..I am looking forward to getting back on track.. I have gained what I lost from the last challenge. I am not very proud of that, but I am here ready for a fight!! :) I started hydro aerobics today after work, what a workout..without the sweat!

A bit about me: I am "almost 46" 6 ft  married lady. My husband and I have been marrried for almost 9 years, we have 4 grown children between us. I have two boys, one that is in the Army "special forces", he just got married this past May. My youngest is in the Air Force. My husband has two children; one boy who is in the Air Force and a daughter that is married to an Air Force man. I might add, my husband retired from the Air Force 5 years ago, and we both work for the Air Force as civilians!  As you can see we are a military family!!

I have 68 pounds to lose. I have hypothyroidism, diagnosed pre-diabetes, and fibromyalgia and have a brachial plexus injury. I am facing possible surgery to repair some nerve damage.

I look forward to the banter and support of a team environment to help me in my quest to finally shed these pounds. Oh and fight off the pre diabetes, get through this injury and alleviate the fibro pain..

Go GREEN!

Hi Lory and welcome.  Good luck with your quest.  Go Air Force, had a brother that retired at at Lt. Col. years ago.

Hi Lory, good to have you here.  I too have hypothyroidism and just recently realized how SUPER important it is to maintain my medication.  I was about a week late renewing my prescription and the results were mind-boggling: almost instant weight-gain, moodiness, depression, lethargy.  I will never make that mistake again!

Hi Lory!  Welcome to the Green team, we are excited to have you with us!

Hi All!

Had my annual physical this morning and it went great!  Proud to say my blood pressure is on the mark.  So happy to see that finally!  My doc also informed me that I've lost 53 lbs since September last year.  WOOT!  Now I'm just waiting on the cholesterol results . . . been working hard on that too.

I weighed in at 176 this morning . . . almost half way to my goal.  Have been staying in target calorie range all week and have 4 1/2 hours of cardio in so far.

What a great friggen day!

Hope everyone is having an awesome week!

Angie :)

Angie - that is AWESOME!  Way to go.

Angie, what a great way to start your weekend!  You sound very motivated to keep up the good work!  Thanks for sharingLaughing.

Hey everyone, quick question:

I'm going to a wedding tomorrow night, and I plan to spend the majority of the night on the dance floor.  Do you think this would count towards my cardio?  Assuming of course I'm getting my heart rate up which will likely be the case.

Yeah, I love dancing too!  I think the heels will be coming off when the dancing starts (which makes it pretty funny since I'm 5'2" and my hubby's 6'3"!)

I agree with Nikki that dancing is most certainly cardio!  They even have a TV show Dance Your Ass Off, so I say go for it!!!  Have a blastLaughing.

Hello everyone,

My name is Trista.  I'm 5'6" and 216 lbs (but I was 219 when the challenge started so I'm pretty stoked about that).  I started CC in June but this is the first challenge I've tried.

I was just now able to access our team meetings.  For some reason I couldn't get the link to work earlier this week - well better late than never right?  I was able to post my weight and water so that was good.

I have hypothyroidism like a couple others on our team.  I love the encouragement of a team and the competition of a challenge.  Go BIG Green!

Well, not a bad weekend.  I've managed to stick to my cardio committment so far and have 6 hours in.  I went over calories a bit yesterday and again today but still had a good 1000 calorie burn each day.

How's everyone doing?

Well, I had a great weekend. Kept very busy; needless to say say I am paying for it today! Surprised One thing I must remember Fibro kicks back! LOL I have kept within my calories each day and kept with the cardio all weekend. I will be back at the hydro aerobics Tuesday. I think my biggest problem at home, is keeping up with my water. I do so well at work, then when I am home I am not pushing the water. Something I need to fix for sure!

Well Off to the hot tub! Tongue out Then bed 5 am comes all too quick!

Good job everyone.  I also kept within my calories, got my waters in and did pretty well on my cardio.  So far 5.1 Pts. for the team (that thru Sun PM).  Let's all keep up the good work.

alright, so i think i owe it to ya'll to finally introduce myself!

i'm nikki (just in case you hadn't already picked up on that Wink). i'm 23 years old and stand at a whopping 5'2", lol. i've been using cc on and off since april of 2007 and haven't really lost a whole lot - sad, i know. i have learned a lot about food though and how it can both help and harm my body. i truly believe that educating yourself is half the battle. i started back in april of '07 at 167, lost a few pounds, got lazy, gained some back, then lost it again and then gained it back again. after graduating from college this past december, i found myself sitting at 170 and decided that that this silly yo-yoing was not going to cut it anymore. i've been steadily losing (and learning how to maintain at each interval) since then and now stand at 156 - not too shabby if you ask me. my ultimate goal is to get down to 150 by the end of this year and between 135 and 140 by the end of next year (which just so happens to be when i'm getting married!!! Laughing). along with losing weight and becoming healthier, my goal is to be able to complete (and then maybe even compete in) a 5K race - there's just something about running that makes my body feel incredible!!

so there you have it - a small insight to who i am. i look forward to having ya'll by my side for this journey. i know that together, we will be awesome!!

go green!!! Cool

by the way, just thought i'd share with ya'll that we were leading the whole week with the most points for last week's challenge, and the blue team came in and snatched it up from under us on the last day! oh we were sooo close!! let's not let them do that to us again - get those hearts pumping!! Tongue out

Well, it is Tuesday and I am back at work after being very sick over the last 5 daysFrown.  I am so sorry to have fallen on the cardio challenge as I would have usually got more time in at the gym.  Glad to see so many of you doing well for our TEAM!  I will work on the veggies and fruits for this week, however am still eating soup at this time.  Good luck to everyone this week!
