25-35 Pounds By Christmas? ***GROUP CLOSED***

Christmas is approximately 22 weeks away, give or take a few days. I would like to lose a minimum of 28 pounds by then...but losing 35 pounds would be even more awesome!!! I think this is a healthy and realistic goal...25-35 pounds in about, let's call it 21 weeks, is the equivalent of losing 1.19-1.66 pounds a week.
Would anyone like to join me? I would like to find a group of committed people who can support one another and celebrate together all along the way. Is anyone with me? I find it easiest to weigh in on Fridays, but we can each weigh in whenever. Just check in and support one another at least twice a week!
I currently weigh 222.4...I am trying to get to 195 by Christmas and 188 would be downright awesome!

No change.. things aren't getting any better. Still trying to exercise (limited to swimming due to foot tendonitis) and am eating really healthy and creating a deficit.. we'll see how this week goes and if nothing changes, I will have to rethink my game plan... =)

 So my TOM is STILL going on (I have an IUD and it makes for miserably long TOMs...), but the weight is dropping bit by bit, so I'm getting a little more optimistic.  I still don't think I'll meet my Christmas goal, but I'm not going to change it... I'll just keep plugging away!

Melinda, I'm so sorry about your MIL!  You're amazingly strong for helping everyone through like you did... I lost my grandma around this time of the year, and I've never experienced anything so hard and emotionally draining in my life.  I hope you and your family are doing okay...

Nothing like being stuck for two months. I did have my evaluation appointment with my new gym yesterday. They measured me and had me fill out a questionnaire. The girl that was working with me said that once I get on my personal program I would break my plateau. I just can't wait. They gym won't be opening until mid December so I need to do something on my own until then. Not sure what though.

The thread is becoming more and more idle. How is everyone doing?

Finally a loss. Am going to post on Thursday because I joined the biggest loser and I have to weigh in by Thurs for it.

I'm posting early this week so I won't forget! I'm down 4 lbs this time, which is a total of 14 for the entire challenge so far! I'm happy with the results so will be tickled pink by Christmas no matter how much more weight I lose!

Challenge weight loss - 16.0  lbs, 6.0 pounds to Challenge Goal

I had SO hoped to make it into the 120's before my loss stalled.  We're going to a birthday party tomorrow, so I'm going to have a good cheat day, then back to my regular schedule.  Maybe that will give me a good loss again.  The 6 pounds is still within reach by Christmas though, so I"m not feeling TOO down about it.

hey v, my body acts that same way. I've had a plateau the past month, but previously I noticed the same trend myself. Congrats on the 4lb loss.
