Hey everyone! I'm Jackie and I'm in my first year as an art student. My goal right now is to lose 24 more pounds by December 23rd (family Christmas party)! That will put me at 199 pounds. I come from a huge family and I really want them all to see me in a new light. Plus, I want to look nice in our yearly picture for once!

How is everyone doing? For some reason the scale just hasn't moved a bit this week. Maybe by Sunday I'll at least lose half a pound or something.. who knows!
I binged yesterday, i ate more than 2000 calories and i went to sleep really late and wole up at around 3pm today and weighed myself and it said i went down .2 oz. It's weird but i think it is cause i slept so much it was burning everything while i slept. So now i am back on track again and we'll see how i do today lol
I thought I'd update here because I am very very excited! As of today, I am 171.4, which is the lowest I've been pretty much ever. I think once about a year and a half ago I was this low for a couple of weeks while living in Holland (and trying to adjust to the food there), and then I started drinking a lot of beer, ha.
I went shopping and I fit quite comfortably into a size 12!!! (It was even big on the top!) I think the last time I wore a size 12 when I was about 10 or 11? I've ALWAYS been very overweight, and now I feel like things are finally coming together! :D

Not too shabby if I do say so myself. That's a 16.2 lb loss so far. And my parents and friends are actually starting to notice! Since they only see me in pictures I post on my blog (I'm studying in Australia right now), I don't always have pics/updates for a few weeks, and at my last posting they all commented on how great/trim I was looking! Definately a boost of confidence to keep going.

Some advice: if you have a later class in the morning (10 or later), force your butt out of bed just a half hour earlier than usual and cram a few minutes in at the gym. It'll be hell for the first few days, but once you get used to it I found it made me more energized for the rest of the day and more likely to stick to my eating goals.
Just updating for the week...
I was down another half a pound yesterday morning to 152.1...but then I totally binged on tacos and soda with my BF last night, and now I'm up to exactly the same as Tuesday, 152.7. Oh well, that'll teach me my lesson. I'll try and be really good till sunday and weigh in again then, hopefully I'll be down again!
happy saturday. its so early why am i awake? well when i drink i have bad sleeps and well yesterday I went to a football game and indulged in a few too many beers. BAD I KNOW! but...drumrolll

its probably because im dehydrated from the alcohol but yahh go me! I hope everyone elses weeks are going well. Its so hard to not gorge on chocolate when im stressed with assignments but oh well.

Hey! I havn't updated but I havn't got anything really to update cause I've maintained my weight which is fine I know I'm trying that's all I care about. And everyone good job and I hope y'all aren't stressing your self to much and thankyou for our wonderful advice. I know I need to get more sleep but it's basically impossible... the only thing that keeps me going is exercise isn't that funny? If I exercise I don't get tired at the end of the day it GET's ME to the end of the day heh
Oh and LOL Jackattack about the pizza how do you train your body to do that?!?!?!?!
LOL I didn't do it on purpose! I just haven't eaten anything that greasy in MONTHS and my body was like "WTFFFF" :P
Never doin that again. I'll stick to healthier pizzas!

I made it to Sunday! Today's weight is 151. I think maybe this is cause I had a little to drink last night (I know, bad!) and am a little dehydrated...but I didn't drink all that much, and my super-high-tech scale that measures my body water percentage (I know, it's weird) says my hydration is OK, so I'll take it! That means I'm down 3.5 pounds this week! Woot! I haven't really started counting calories yet, just cut out all the junk...so I hope this continues!
Well it's my weigh in day and I didn't lose a freakin thing I'm really upset. I am going to eat more and go to the gym and see if that does anything, sigh.

Jackattack07... I hate limiting myself with food, I would rather bust my ... at a gym than only eating 1200 calories. It works for me.
