Welcome to the **February** Challenge!

If you’ve participated before, welcome back for another month! To all those who have not done this challenge (or any other) welcome aboard newcomers!
If you are new, please tag this thread so that you can find your way back in the future.

The challenge is pretty easy & does NOT require a long-term commitment; just for this month. You pick a goal weight, and post your progress each week. You are NOT in competition with the other challengers—in fact, you are encouraged to cheer each other on. This is about having a reason to stay motivated throughout the month’s weight loss journey and having a place to post your progress to help you stay on track--some "extra" accountability for your actions because you know you aren't the only one who will "see" the results.

We'll have 4 weekly weigh-ins plus the start. Our dates are February 8, 15, 22, and March 1, 2011 for final weigh in.

Weigh-in days change to Tuesday coinciding with the first of the month.

Normally, spreadsheet results will be posted within 24 hours after weigh in date and will appear as a link at the bottom of this post.

Hey Nicole, used to be the exact same as you when I started CC (128) at the exact same age, haha, went down to 120, but had crazy binges every once in a while, watch out! :P

I did good last month maybe I'll make my final goal this month. But I don't want to be too overzealous and end up disappointed so I'm keeping it slow and steady.

Average daily calories: Aiming for 1200-1300 on sedentary days and 1400-1500 on workout days. Once a week(probably will be Sundays) I will not count calories but make healthy decisions.  And once in every two weeks I will have a splurge day when i will eat at max 2000 cals without feeling guilty)

You are already at a healthy weight and low BMI. It would be advisable to just exercise and eat healthily at 1500 cal or more for your age.  CC calculators are for adults so check out http://www.bcm.edu/cnrc/bodycomp/bmiz2.html

Add comments: I have never really tried to lose weight so this would be the first time. I have 2 children and before I started having kids I weighed about 125-130 I have not lost that weight since I have put it on. I need to stop blaming the idea of having kids on my weight and really change how I do things to make a change.  My husband and I will be celebrating our 10 yr wedding ann. this year and I would like to go on an exotic getaway and not feel like i look like a beached whale!!
