So, I was an active calorie-count user and member.. but then, I just gave up and that resulted in me gaining 15 pounds! BLECH! THat's 16 MORE to lose make it 41 pounds that's gotta go. Oh boy. I plan to do this before the year ends. I'm definately not gonna start 2009 looking the way i am now.
But I'm taking baby steps and I go through this in 8-week time periods. After every eight weeks, I get to buy an outfit I would NEVER even THINK of buying :) .. I mean yeah I'm gonna shop in between but after the eight weeks, I plan to buy something eye catching and mind blowing !
I also plan to lose around 12 pounds every eight weeks. That's 1.5 pounds a week. It may sound simple but I'm not gonna try to slip through, I'm gonnna work my butt off for these eight weeks and maybe, just maybe, exceed my goal by a few pounds. BUT - less than 12 is not gonna cut it.
Okay, I'm not gonna post my weight until tomorrow which will be the beginning of WEEK 1.

I want to join! I'm new to CC, I've started eating well and working out 3 weeks ago and it's going very well, but I need the motivation and I need to be able to talk to people who are doing the same thing. Because my boyfriend encourages me and everything, but he doesn't really care about how much weight I lose and how long I work out. :)

July 14: I don't have a scale, but I probably lost 1 or 2 pounds. I'm really proud of myself because I went to the gym 3 times last week and I managed to make good food choices during my weekend away from home. And I was much more comfortable wearing a bikini around friends this weekend. Losing weight is fun!

Since I prob. wont do anymore cardio today and will be taking tomorrow off here is my official cardio count and weight for this week. It may not seem like a lot of cardio to some of you but its an improvement for me(I went from not even going to the gym) and one that I plan on increasing.

I've had a bad week tho...I only exercised ONE day this week. I've been terribly busy and its bad that I havent made the tie to devout myself full force yet. Hopefully when I step on the scale tomorrow...It won't be THATT bad...but I am expecting the worst to avoid the disappointment.

I hope everyone had a good week. I started out a high weight (water), so I really only lost a pound but it looks good! I can't wait till September. I think I'll reward myself with a new pair of shoes, with pants and a top to go with them!

I too had a crappy week! It was way too busy. I didn't get any workouts in :( I went to 4 concerts and drank way too much alcohol! (had an amazing time tho!!!) Needless to say I'm up......but shockingly enough, only half a pound.....leaving me at 162.5.
All three kids are in summer camp this week so no excuses for being too busy. I will be focusing on healthy eating and exercising. My goal for this week is to lose at least 3 pounds. (gotta try to make up for last week!!)
