I had a totally unexplainable weight gain on Monday - jumped up 5 pounds! Luckily, I've been able to get some of it off - while taking it all in stride!

Ughh, I don't want to talk about it. This is my ultimate high weight - the highest I've ever been. I want to curl up and eat ice cream. Sighhh i had a really fancy dinner on thursday so hopefully it'll go down? I just got home from college so losing weight will be a lot easier.

Checking in! I did pretty well this week. I am on a partial fast for religious reasons (basically a vegan diet, but more restrictive in that I can't have chemicals, so nothing with artificial flavors, etc. can't have leavened bread, etc.). Today was day 5 and I'm doing this for 21 days. So I may see somewhat dramatic weight loss for the next couple of weeks and then put some back on. We'll see what happens! My goal weight for this challenge is just 128, so I don't have super far to go. That gives me time to deal with any weight gain that may come after I end the fast.

Have been having a rough go this week.  Did not go to gym Wed to Wed but am back on it now.  I have not been sitting idle however as with the rough weather we have had here in Alabama, I have been out helping remove fallen trees, build sandbag walls, etc.  Had some wind damage to my roof but nothing too serious.  Some folks have had trees fall right into their homes and cars, and roads and parking lots became a roaring river in Montgomery yeserday just washing away cars and flooding homes, businesses, and a church of at least one co-worker.  Kind of like Rocky 4 when instead of training in the gym, he goes out in the wilderness in Siberia.  Seriously, between tornados, flash floods, etc, it has been pretty bad and in work related life, a project that I had planned on a first week of July deadline has been moved up to May 31.

I am going to keep on keeping on as I am continuing to get many compliments and I may have inspired at least three co-workers to try to emulate what I am doing, but I think only one is truly serious.  I may have embarrassed her by saying she looked skinnier in the face (all I saw since she was standing behind a counter) as I hadn't seen her all week.

A lot of losses recorded this first week.  Good luck to all.

Too much party last week end and during the week with meetings! Doesn't matter which day weigh in is as I have one on Sun, Tues and Fri so if I cheat it affects one of them or all.

Looks like some great losses, congrats and good luck to everyone. I won't be near a scale next week while traveling.

Jigglethehandle- That is horrible! I saw some of that on the news and I felt so bad for those families and businesses.  Having people here on CC that are affected by it makes it all that much more real.  I will be praying for all the families and people down there.  Frown That's really awesome your trying to help where you can.

It sounds like everybody is having a hard time this week! My big source of stress right now is finals. This coming week will still be rough, but after that it's glorious summer! I'm just glad the weather is a lot nicer here than it is for you, jigglethehandle. Yikes! Frown

Less than three pounds loss is a bit disappointing (especially since I've been working my rear off at the gym this week), but it still makes me awfully happy just have one less notch to move that counterweight thing on the top of the scale! Making it below 300 is such a landmark for me. I haven't weighed this little since some time in high school, believe it or not! I just wish I  looked different already.

I'm finally on vacation!  I haven't done the greatest the last 2 days.  Texas is known for steaks and we are trying as many as possible!  So far it's been a good time and lots of drinkin with my bro.
