i think it would also help if we report on how we did on our goals whether our weight is down or not.......
I do want to say congrats to those who made goals..... had a drop in weight or managed to maintain current weight.....
In addition for those who gained or saw no decrease i have a bit to share..... i have been at this CC thing and excercising ferociously since early May of this year..... i started out at 186...... i gained weight..... around mid july i weighed in at 194...... I was dumb founded...... i couldnt believe it!!! well i kept pushing..... adjusting my diet.... adjusting my routine.... and finally i am loosing..... i'm back down to 186 and i am hoping to be down to 184 by the end of the month..... i am definetly loosing inches though.... my clothes are fitting differently.....
so please share your stories......

In this setting here it is hard not to have a casual beer. However, I will try and be a bit better in the future.
I was good at the buffet at Medhe, and didnt go wild. However the food there isnt that great so that is not really saying much. I did go for a run afterwards as well! That night I did have about 6 beers though. Not good.
However, I lost 1lb, which is better than nothing and at least I didnt gain.
goals this week: portion contorl at buffets, daily excercize positve attitude
It was a good week, did lots of exercise and change my diet a bit to take into account my blood type groupe O. It seems that this blood type needs more proteine and avoid wheat and diary products, which I did...
I was feeling more comfortable with more energy with even lower calories intake... about 1,200.

My story : I've been on and off this website for the past couple of years. It helped with my first big weight loss (almost 30 lbs) in 2007 AND the weight stayed off for most part (put on 5 lbs this past month.) Am currently in a pretty stressful stage of life (which stage isnt, huh ?) My biggest problem - coming home from work and regularly working out only my tongue and jaw muscles i.e. eating like there is no tomorrow :D . I plan to stick around this time and re-learn healthy eating and healthy losing to get my dream figure before I am thirty! I look forward to hearing from all of you every week or whenever you have anything to say! Also feel free to add me as a friend/ msg me whenever. I am not online that often nowadays - but having news to look forward to might give me an incentive to log on more regularly! Ok- will shut up for now.

i did pretty well on last weeks goals... no speeding tickets!!! i sucked at planning meals daily and my diet certainly suffered.... but my weight is down so i will not complain... i visited a new gym and did some weight machines my gym doesnt have..... all in all a pretty good week!!!

Hi Ladies - soudns like everyone had a pretty good week!
I am still "without scale" as I sent mine in for repair...but I had a pretty good week also, so I am hoping that when my scale comes back, I can see a change of a few pounds...if it isn't back by next week, I will step no a scale at a store or something.
Keep it up - remember, nothing tastes as good as thin feels!!!

Just thought I would share a quick snack/light lunch that I have been having...I am not much of an early-day eater, so breakfast is usually not until about 10AM. When I get hungry again at about1, I have been taking the leftover cold coffee from the morning and dumping it into the blender with a handful of ice cubes, a cup of 1% milk, and a scoop of the slimfast vanilla optima powder. The whole thing is like 225 calories and it makes a couple of large glasses to sip on throughout the afternoon...keeps me full and satisfied until dinner!!!
Just thought I would share a trick - keep up the good work!

Last week i did pretty good.... not sure what my total cal def was, but i am down another 1/2 lb..... i wish it was more (last last week) but hey i'll take it!!!! I stayed away from the reeses cups, but now we have this pub mix that is so tasty..... but it is horribly salty..... so i need to beware of this tempation. I didnt find new strength training excercises..... but i took a cardio kick boxing class for the first time last night.... it was fun all in all i did well..
