I know, it's losing more weight than you're supposed to. But, it's only half a opund more a week. So, I think I can do it. This is like a tiny goal on the way to a mini goal of 185 lbs, 30 lbs more.

My Problem, I need to be a bit more motivated, lost my motivation lately. Help?!! How do I pump myslef up for exercising no?

Also, I would like to give myself a reward for getting to this tiny goal, and it has to be free. Any ideas on that one

As for a reward I'll think about that one. =]

 

My motivation is always that bikini I want this summer, shopping, new jeans (that's a big one) and I just envision how I will look. I admit to also imagining all the compliments I will get on my hard work and all. Shallow, but it works. Good luck!

I want to loose 10 lbs by halloween too! Let's motivate eachother!!! 

A free reward is tough. I'm always looking for something free too, but haven't quite thought of it.

I also envision what I will look like and the compliments I will get but that makes me unmotivated because it seems so far away. See I still need a little movitation, help! Lets loose 10 lbs by Halloween!

i would like to join, currently weigh 147lbs would be great to be anywhere near 137 by the end of the month......are we going to weigh in??

Yeah a weigh in sounds good how about every sunday and thursday untill then (i just made up those days we can do any day) I'm starting at 130. What else should we do to motivate eachother?

I'd def like to join..i'm at 172 as of today, started out at 176 last monday and would love to keep going..10 lbs by halloween would be great! I like the idea of two weigh ins.  i usually weigh myself a day or two before the weekend and then a day after, (little extra motivation for me to be good on the weekend) lol  but any day is fine for me... can't wait, lets do this!

I'd like to join too!  I am 167 - 165 most days and really need some inspiration from other members! I'll weigh in on sunday too!

(Oh, shoot! I was reading your post and the one below it! I hope you like jeans!) Since you mentioned that you love jeans (so do I!), I'd have to say that's a big motivation! I bought a pair of $50 jeans (pefect color and perfect butthugging!) in the size that I want to eventually be -realistically- and I hung them up on my wall to taunt me really - like a carrot in from of a rabbit on a tredmil! That's what I did as my big finale prize but as a mini prize you could buy yourself a nice pair of shoes? Or get your nails done? Do something for yourself that has nothing to do with weight but makes you feel better about yourself... get your hair done! I want to treat myself to a massage when I get down to my mini goal of 160. :)

So can we share with each other what we're all doing? Because honestly I'm very new at the healthy way of losing weight. 

I've just dedicated myself to start eating the recommended 1200 calories a day (as opposed to the 400-600 I was starving myself with. Which, by the way, does NOT work. I actually gained weight. =[) And also the 12 week exercise program they have here on the site. 

What are you all doing?

Oh...and I am rewarding myself with a hot costume to wear to the big party I'm going to. =D

Good job on the 4 llbs! How did you do that so fast? I haven't lost any! But I'm going to do it! I don't think 10lbs will happen by Halloween though because thats not healthy my new goal is 125 by then!

And here's why (going to ramble on a bit, hope you girls dont' mind)

I became newly motivated today. I've been losing weight very, very slowly because I have a wedding next year. Today I lost (and found later, thank god) my engagement ring. It had become looser and looser but I just thought it was because of the cold. But today during the (warm) afternoon it had slipped off, and I put it back on.. and then two hours later I lost it again. (I found it at the bottom of my purse after a short freakout) Anyway, I started talking about how I should resize it since I'd lost close to 20 lbs already, and how I had planned to resize it as I lost weight....

So then my future-mother-in-law very politely (and nicely) tells me that basically I shouldn't bother. She said sizing a ring back up after you size it down is expensive. That I should just tape it for a while. She was very polite about it, not exactly venomous. But it's clear that she doesn't think my weight loss plan is going to be either successful or permanent. She tried to say that every bride baloons back to their original weight after the wedding.. but I've been overweight all my life. And while a wedding is good motivation, I had planned on staying thin. I understand that women get a little extra baby weight, but we hadn't planned on having babies for a few years either.

But, with all that aside. I decided I can do this. And not for her, or "to show her" or anything hateful like that. She didn't mean it in a hateful way (although I wish she would have been more supportive.. it was a little rude =/). I just need to do this for me. You know, to believe in myself.. and all that cheesy crap.

So.. long answer. I'm in.

My weight had just fluctuated before the previous weigh-in, so when I lost the 4 lbs it was partly because I was just getting over that bloat and water from that weight fluctuation.

small frame but curvy, my weight come on kinda evenly but reall is annoying on my ass and thighs!!!

 i'll do weigh ins on sundays too. halloween is my absolute fave and I want to look super cute this year! This reward in its self, vein but still make a girl feel better. And i try to do at least 8 mile a night on my bike. i missed the last couple of day due to the flu but i can get back. good luck everyone.
