My goal is to lose the 10# I put back on over the past 3 months, but at the end of this month, I'd like to see my weight tread be 147.

Cw 366... Goal weight to be under 360

I'm in! I doubled my pledge for last month and met it, so I'm going to try it again! I'm pledging 10 lbs, that's 2 lbs a week, and my weigh-ins are Thursdays! LET'S DO THIS!!

3/8-YAYYY!! I'm back to losing weight again!  And WITHOUT my elliptical, I might add!! Can't wait to get it fixed, though finding a replacement bolt hasn't been effective, I'm going to search online for one!  Wish me luck!!

I am in again! My goal is to break the 250 mark!

Starting Weight (this time): 307 Current Weight: 258 March Goal Weight: 249

It might be a tough one this month because we have spring break in a few weeks and we usually go out to eat a few times, but I will give it my best.

Ok, I'm in.  And I'll try to actually check in!  So last month I was on track until I starting dining out alot.  And I mean ALOT!  I lost 4 lbs the first week and gained most back by week 3.  Water weight I'm sure, but still!  Anyhow, I'll post stats tomorrow when I do my official weigh in for February.

I'm in! I'm also going to weigh in on Thursdays.

(That works out to 1.5 lbs a week putting me right on track for my ultimate goal by June - AND is a goal I believe is attainable. I haven't met one yet, so I'm giving myself a break and picking a number that I truly believe I can reach.  Just to meet once would feel GREAT! ...And now I sound like Tony the Tiger. <eye roll>)

YAY March challenge!  Welcome back folks and welcome new comers!

*Side note:  I opted to end on the 29th that then thinking ahead start the next challenge on March 30th.  I know it might make better sense to start the next (April) challenge on Monday, April 2nd and run through Monday, April 30th but Mondays are historically HORRIBLE weigh-in days for be since - for whatever reason - I tend to put weight on the night before.  Seriously!  I was sitting at 160.8 this past Saturday and Sunday, ate well, exercised Saturday, but not Sunday (it's my off day)...  Still up to 163.2 this past Monday.  Back to 160.0 by today.  Makes no sense and there's no rhyme or reason for it, but that being the case I think Monday weigh ins would make me feel defeated...  It would be a very real possibility that I would reach (or dare I even say - exceed) my goal on Friday, but not still have made it by reporting Monday and that would SUCK.

Thanks, Langey for continuing the monthly challenge! I am back in. Didn't quite meet my March goal, so hopefully will do a little better this month. I know my goal weight (135) doesn't seem like much of a loss, but my body is at that point where it doesn't want to shed and it is going to take much more work.

Good luck everyone! Work hard and stay positive!

I'm back too.  Need a new strategy this month.  Have also never met a goal.  I'm going to weigh in tomorrow and decide what my official strategy is going to be.  I'd really like to break 130.  Depending upon what tomorrow brings, that means the most it could be is a 3 pound loss.  I'm not sure if I want to do an exercise minute goal and a calorie goal and skip concentrating so much on the scale.  I'd like to more concentrate on my clothes getting looser.  I'm realistically only a 4 day/week exerciser.  If I shoot for 45 minutes a day, that is 180 minutes a week and 720 a month.  Seems pretty realistic.  I could do 5-6 days.  Weekends are hard because we're never home.  My b/f parent's have a nice treadmill that I love walking on.  I need to get on there more.  His mom is a walker, she walks every morning at 6:15 with girls on her block, so I could tell her to lace up and lets go.

I need a plan.  If I stick to calories and stick to minutes the scale should coincide with it.  I want a HOT body for summer since I spend my weekends at the cabin and out on the pontoon in the sun and in the water.  I want a new swim suit.  I don't want love handles or flabby legs.  I need a firm, defined body!  Haha....ok enough babbling, I'll check in tomorrow.

I'm Excited!

Langey - Me too!! We go our lake place a lot in the summer. I want to be able to wear a bikini on the pontoon this year!

When I first started my weightloss journey about 3 years ago now (I was over 160 pounds), my only exercise was walking - I walked nearly everyday for about 30 minutes (sometimes longer, sometimes less) and it made a HUGE difference. I have read that walking is great for losing the belly fat.

Weekends are hard for me to get in exercise too - just get so busy sometimes. But I try to get in at least one workout - whether it is saturday a.m. or sunday p.m.

If you want that firm, defined body  . . . strength/weight/circuit training. Stick with the Jillian M dvds you have - they will pay off!

Thanks for the challenge.

Ok, here's my stats.

GW: 125.0

LTGW: 115

My goal is very ambitious for someone in a healthy weight range, but I exercise almost every day, with a goal of 1000 exercise minutes in a month.  Last month I got 1,115, but because I ate out nearly every day, I only lost 1.2 lbs.  Grrrr.  So I'm trying to focus on eating more at home and we'll see what happens.  I'll weigh in on Thursdays.

Hopefully this month will be better than Feb!

I just want to get through this plateau to get rid of the last few pounds. I'm going to try to take it slow.  I haven't weighed in since Sunday, so I'll just start with that and update tomorrow.

Age: 29

GW by end of March: 134

2/25/12 - 137.2

So I thought I'd share this:  My boss bought some tortilla wrap things that taste pretty good.  They have 13 grams of fiber, 8 grams of protein and 90 calories per wrap.  They are the big size ones.  I am having one today with some turkey and lettuce ( and mayo :/)  Sorry only dressing I had here.  I have to say they are a thumbs up.  She found them at Cash Wise in the organic section.  They are La Tortialla Factory Smart & Delicious Soft Wraps.  She makes breakfast wraps in the morning with them.  I suggest them for people who want their fiber!
