Welcome to the **March** Challenge!

If you’ve participated before, welcome back for another month! To all those who have not done this challenge (or any other) welcome aboard newcomers!
If you are new, please tag this thread so that you can find your way back in the future.

The challenge is pretty easy & does NOT require a long-term commitment. You pick a goal weight, and post your progress each week. You are NOT in competition with the other challengers—in fact, you are encouraged to cheer each other on. This is about having a reason to stay motivated throughout the month’s weight loss journey and having a place to post your progress to help you stay on track--some "extra" accountability for your actions because you know you aren't the only one who will "see" the results.

We'll have 4 weekly weigh-ins for March plus the start. Our weekly weigh-in dates are March 8, 15, 22, and 29, 2010 for final weigh in.

Weigh-in days remain on Monday coinciding with the first of the month.

Normally, spreadsheet results will be posted within 24 hours after weigh in date and will appear as a link at the bottom of this post.

I did this challenge before and it is  lot of fun to see so many come back and achieve the monthly goals. Last month I did not achieve my "loafty" goal but I am not giving up until I get there. So I look forward to everyones post what they struggle with and what their successes.

Hi all,

Just updating this a bit early as I weigh in at weekends and might forget to post tomorrow.  Good week for me and lost quite a lot (partly water weight perhaps but good loss regardless)  Will see how next week goes.  Have increased my calorie burn also by adding an extra power walk session so weather permitting it will continue this coming week.  Looking forward to everyone's results.

Saturday i went on the BINGE OF A CENTURY - im talking pb, nutella, cookies, bread ..ANYTHING and EVERYTHING i could find I put in my mouth and then went to sleep. Woke up feeling gross and bloated and utterly dissapointed in myself for ruining a whole week of doing SO well. *March 8th - I thought I'd be up for sure today. I ate well all week, but last night had dinner at my in-laws. Everything was salty (well, saltier than I am used to with my no-salt-diet) so I was expecting water weight today.
