Experts say 10% of your body weight is reasonable to lose in a   3 month  period.  You must take into consideration if you had already   lost a reasonable amount of weight that your may hit a plateau during   this challenge.  Don't get discouraged.

Welcome one and all!  This challenge is a2nd quarter challenge for the year 2012.  Anyone can join and there are no rules, except   pick a day that is good for you to Weigh in Consistently.  Don't  worry,  if you miss a few.  The key here is to log at least once a  week.  So go  ahead and tag this and come back!  If you are new and need  help let me  know and I will give you information on how to tag the  topic.

One thing I decided to do to the challenge is to adjust   your formula to your actual highest weight. Afterall, you have lost more   than your initial weigh in.  I think this is fair and encouraging.  I   will ask you before I adjust the formula, so its up to you.

I'm a dance instructor (former dancer) and am here to lose weight! I am also training for a half marathon in New Zealand this August. So, I will continue weight loss for the next 7 weeks, then do my 12 weeks of marathon training, which will change my diet significantly.

I also find CalCamp very helpful. It's great to build up a support group who will cheer you on and comment on your daily food choices. It spurs me on to make good and healthy choices.

LITTLE ABOUT YOURSELF:  I have participated in this challenge since Jan 2011 and have lost 40 pounds. I can definately say that my confidence is a lot higher and I feel GREAT. I just want to drop a bit more. Slow and steady really is the key, I've changed the way I deal with food rather than just be on a "diet". I love the positive people here!

Well this is the 1st weigh in that I've dreaded since I started at the new year. Scale read 190.6 Saturday. Sunday was 3 months of no starch so I rewarded myself with pizza. 194.8 everyday since Sunday even with running, Zumba and back to no starches. Today's scale read 192.4. Down from last week 0.8. Ugh. No more pizza.
