I am going on a cruise January 2nd. I am going to use that to motivate my weight loss. I have about 30 pounds to lose by then. Who wants to join me?
You can try to lose any amount of weight. What ever you actually need. I would like weigh-ins to be on Fridays. Friday July 30th will be our first offical weigh-in.

A little about myself. I am 19, turning 20 in November. I have been on-again, off-again with weight loss for about 7 years now. I am 5'6", and settling in at around 177lbs right now. I would like to be around 145 by my cruise. 145lbs has been my goal weight for quite some time now.
Ladies... In my opinion all anniversaries are good!
Each one is a perfect reason to look with fresh loving eyes at the person we have chosen to share our lives with (I <3 my hubby).

Goal Weight (12/21/2010): 150 lbs
Start Weight (8/3/2010): 168 lbs
Week 1 (8/6/2010): 167 lbs

Week 4 (8/27/2010): 165 lbs
Total loss: 3 lbs (15 to go)
No loss this week. ...looking back since last weigh-in: tons of stress re crazy deadlines at work, hosted a garage sale, attended a family reunion, 2 little league playoff games with my son, a day at the theme park with the kids, and a funeral for a colleague yesterday --- holy smokes - no wonder I didn't lose anything.
I hope things are calmer this coming week, and I lose at least 1 pound!

Hey Everyone! You guys are doing awesome! I hope I can keep up. I'm just starting this challenge. I hope to lose 13.5 lbs by New Years. I won't be off to a great start because I'm on vacation this coming week (so won't weigh in next Friday) but knowing that I have to weigh in and report when I return will hopefully keep me motivated!

I'd like to join this challenge - my first challenge, and actually the first time I've tried to lose weight properly. I put on quite a few pounds in my first 2 years at uni (I'm 19 now, 20 in a couple of weeks), and have been losing it over the summer.
I've lost about a stone so far, but still have some to lose and hopefully a challenge like this will give me the motivation!

Today I weighed in at 179.8. This is good for me right now. I have 3 months until I cruise, so I hope to lose 20 pounds before then. We will have to see. I hope so :D

Hey guys, sorry for the late weigh-in, I didn't weigh yesterday. Also sorry for missing last week, I was on vacation and didn't have a scale.
Start Weight: 174.8
Goal Weight: 150
Current Weight: 169.6
Total Loss: 5.2 (19.6 to go)
Slowly but surely! Excited to be under 170 :D.
No real results so far - seem to be on a plateau at the moment, argh!
Hopefully will see some changes soon, but still on 175. Fingers crossed for next week :).

Sneaking down soooo slowly you can hardly see it!
So, I am doing okay so far. I had a good-ish weekend. I overate on Saturday, but I wasn;t that hungry yesterday, so it balanced out. Everything is going to go good today. I had a small breakfast, about to go workout, and then I get to head to my retail job. :D

I have tried every fad diet out there. yes, they work but as soon as I go "off" the diet it all comes right back on. I am going to make a lifestyle change, which is hard because I LOVE Food. Knowing that is a good thing, because now I can work on fixing my brain and my body. I just recently started working out too! Lets hope this works.
