I gained two pounds, so I didn't make my goal, and I went backwards twice as fast.
This week, I'd like to aim for 50 minutes of cardio and at least 10 minutes on abs per day, and four strength training sessions.

No exercise for a full week because I was sick. That's just an excuse but is the bottom-line reason for the gain too.

Rancho, I'm sorry you were sick last week! I hope you're doing better!
I almost reached my goal for this week. I did 60 minutes of cardio and at least 15 minutes of abs on six days, and I did four heavier strength training sessions. But I took a day off!
This week, I'd like to do the same...60 minutes of cardio and 15 minutes of abs daily, and four strength training sessions.

I really like your idea about going every-other-day without soda. That was very clever! I think I'm going to start doing that with some foods and drinks as well. Maybe I'll be less "crazy" (or maybe a better word for me would be cranky) as well. Keep up the good work and the great ideas!!!!!
Hey thanks! I havent slipped from my every other soda thing, so its helped so much. I think 'quitting' sodas completely without stepping down is a bad idea, especially with the amount I consumed. When I tried, I had headaches and I felt miserable [due to the caffeine]. I think starting next week, I will try to cut the soda down to once every two days. The only reason I would be a little more likely to slip is because I might have a hard time knowing when its been two days and so on, I'm really busy all the time!
They say it takes 21 days to make something a habit. Well I've made this a habit I suppose! Lets see what 21 days of this new goal does for me! I just thought I'd touch base with you, I haven't visited this thread in a while.

I feel bad because I havent committed to this thread, I will make sure to do so from now on. : )

I did all right on my goals this time! I did 70 minutes of cardio on six days, and 50 minutes of cardio on the other. I also stuck to the strength training schedule, so I had a good week!
This week, I'd like to do less cardio (at least 30 minutes per day), but crank up the intensity. I'd also like to cut down on the junk food!

I havent been able to weigh myself yet, but I will be able to in about 20 hours I guess. : P
Weekly Goal: I met my goal of only drinking soda twice. Tea is making that real tolerable. I didnt make 75,OOO steps, because using the ipod as a pedometer was a horrible idea. I got a better one on Monday, and I only had a total of 20962 steps for four days. I guess if I follow the trend, I would have made approx 36,700 steps.
My goal for Friday, June 25 through Thursday, Jul 1, 2010 is to get to 51,OOO steps. Seems a little more realistic since I was averaging about 5250 steps a day. This will be a step up. : )
I would also like to keep my soda intake low, and I would like to eat out less this week. : ) Keep it to a max of 4 outings.
