Jenn, so sorry to hear that!   Just take it one day at a time...
Gee, I haven't been putting down my exercise stats!  DOH!

Monday - bikejoring 25 minutes, walking 35 minutes
Tuesday - walking 25 minutes, bikejoring 15 minutes
Wednesday - walking 25 minutes, bikejoring 12 minutes

UH OH - I see a declining trend here... Better pump it up tonight!
jenn, sorry to hear about your friend, i hope things get better soon.   one of my best friends passed away suddenly in may and i still have some days where it is hard to deal with it.  (she died post-op due to lack of care)  but strangely enough, yesterday i did something which really helped me a lot (mind you it has been 5 1/2 months since she passed away)...my hubby and i were at the state fair and i went to one of those airbrushed t-shirt places and bought a t-shirt that has a beautiful design with a cross nad red roses on it that says "in loving memory" and has her name, joella, and 1978-2007 on it.  i know to most people it probly either sounds goofy or seems silly, but i am a very emotional person and somwhow, getting that t-shirt and having some sort of way to commemorate her life (and my loss, if that makes sense) has sort of given me some closure which i think i really needed...it's just something that seems to be helping me anyway...

went to the fair yesterday and really didn't do too bad foodwise.  walked like a jillion miles or something, was on my feet from 11am-8pm, with the exception of a 2 minute sitdown on a foot massage machine (thing was awesome, but it vibrated so much my teeth chattered in my head for five minutes solid even AFTER i stepped off!) and about 45 minutes while we watched the birds of the world show, which was really cool.  it was me, hubby, my 22yo niece and her 2yo daughter, so all the junk food we got (save my one corny dog i had all to myself) we split 3-4 ways, depending if the baby was awake or not...we tried fried cheesecake (it comes in like a little burrito wrap!), funnel cakes (baby LOVES them!),fried snickers, and vanilla fudge...all good but waaaaaaaaaay too sweet for more than a few bites anyway...so all in all i feel pretty good about my trip...and somehow (god only knows on this one!) i jumped on the scale after not doing..well, ANYTHING, all week, and i have managed to not gain ANYTHING so i am happy, ijust hope it doesn't all decide to show up on me tomorrow morning, just in time for the weekly weigh-in LOL

Well, this one has to be good, because my official one on Monday is not gonna be -- after a weekend stuck in seminar and classes and eating what I can find, and not swimming (I'm gonna try for a walk, but....).  It's silly, but we have sports nutritionist talking for a couple of sessions but I guarantee that no one ever thought to look at the food available to all the coaches...

Mav -- while it might not be something I'd do -- I think your T-shirt sounds like a perfectly sweet idea -- whatever works for you is really what matters

Oh -- and that corn dog sounds sooooo good.

cheers all -- I've got a class to get to

Coach-WOW!!  You are <so> close to your target goal weight!!! At the loss rate you are experiencing right now you will most likely see that by or before Halloween!  Great Job!!!   And WOOHOO on your -3.5 this week.  I personally go back and forth with losing bigger numbers for a while and then hardly anything for a while.  I guess that may be what you're going through?  Take it and run! So I gained this week, not a big surprise really. I haven't been to the gym since last Saturday, I haven't logged in 2 days, and I haven't been eating properly. I'm going to attempt to get back on track today though.

I need some motivation, feel free to PM me and give me some ideas to try and pick myself up.

Well, everyone have a good weekend.

<3 Jenn

Ugh I forgot to report on Friday...has anyone else felt really hectic/ busy lately?  To top it all off I've decided to learn to knit...*pulls hair out*  I WILL learn it if it takes me a year!  Yarn is so pretty.

So my

SW was 283.5

and my CW is 272.5

down 11 pounds total and I can't find last weeks weigh in in my journal thingy, but I don't think I've lost any from two weeks ago cause I had my TOTM last week and I was probably up 2 then.

As for exercise you can pretty much count on me walking or belly-dancing every day...especially since I got a new BD DVD!  When I walk now I try to make sure I take routes with inclines...quite a few in town...my average is 60 minutes of exercise 5 days a week..lots of running around and cleaning on weekends!

Oh and Ive fallen off the water wagon....does anyone know why it's so hard to remember to drink it?  I don't dislike it, but I just get busy and forget it!  *scratches head*  Going to get up right now and drink a cup darn it!

Hubby is watching baseball.  I don't like this increase in his watching of sports at all! He says it's because it's winter and he doesn't have anything else to do and there isn't anything else on. At least we finally got another tv so I can watch what I want.

I waxed my lip and chin earlier and I over did it a bit on my lip-it hurts-ouch!

Good luck on the knitting foxfire. Yarn is pretty! Good job on the exercise! I keep up with the water by drinking a 20 oz bottle of water ( I refill it with tap) every time I go out on my bus route. So that's 60 oz and I drink a 24 oz cup at home. Try connecting it with meals maybe or something you do every day. Weekends I slip up a bit too.

alldolledup, just do the best you can and try not to get discouraged. You are going through a hard time so you have to remember that it's going to be extra hard but you will get back on track. Try eating all healthy food even if you go over your cals you will feel better for it and then work on eating less. I do that sometimes.

good job mavschick and janeau on the losses!
Hey guys! Can I be a mid month entry? lol Thought this might help and I'm definately in the over 200 club :( we'll all get there.. but then were going to have to change the name to an under 200 but not quite there club

Anybody hear from bqueenme?  We have no challenge -- but more importantly, I haven't seen/heard anything from her since last week?

Clairenicole -- I doubt anyone would mind, but you might want to pm our fearless leader (bqueenme) and find out what you need to do

Coach, I swear you read my mind.  I was just in her profile to see when she last signed on, Friday.  I hope she's alright!  B?????

Weeeeird.

Come back to us queenie! haha.

It is too late to join this weight loss challenge?

Ok, until our fearless leader comes back and lets us know what this week's challenge will be...

10/22-60 minutes cardio (30 walking, 30 nordic wlkg w/weights)

Man did I feel good afterward!!!  And my arms, or er, my upper half doesn't feel like it's about to fall off like it did the last time I did it to this degree.

What did everyone else accomplish in terms of their weight loss journey yesterday?  C'mon and list it.  Maybe all our enthusiasm will be heard through the good vibes trail and get Bqueen back on track and back online with us. Smile

Coach???  How did swimming go yesterday?  Alldolledup, how did you do yesterday?  How have you been?

Anyone else wanna chime in?

Keyster, so you don't think you're being ignored, Wink check out Coach K's response to Clairnicole (post #656).  Hopefully we'll all be up and running (so to speak) very soon and you two can join up!!!
