Experts say 10% of your body weight is reasonable to lose in a 3 month period. You must take into consideration if you had already lost a reasonable amount of weight that your may hit a plateau during this challenge. Don't get discouraged.

Welcome one and all! This challenge is a 3rd quarter challenge for the year 2012. Anyone can join and there are no rules, except pick a day that is good for you to Weigh in Consistently. if you miss the day when you regularly weigh in go ahead and do it when you remember to keep you current in the weeks spreadsheet. The key here is to log at least once a week. So go ahead and tag this and come back! If you are new and need help let me know and I will give you information on how to tag the topic.

REMEMBER to let me know if you won't be weighing in so I don't delete you from the spreadsheet. After about 2=3 weeks depending on how you are with regularly logging is whether I will keep you in the challenge. If you are removed, you can always be added back, its just I want to keep the spreadsheet current so those that regularly log don't get overlooked for accolades because someone didn't log since they had a gain and didn't want that to show. Oh well . . . Thats is all>

One thing I decided to do to the challenge is to adjust your formula to your actual highest weight. Afterall, you have lost more than your initial weigh in. I think this is fair and encouraging. I will ask you before I adjust the formula, so its up to you.

I did Insanity 5 of the 6 days last week and I am back to my pre-insanity weight (which is a good thing). I do feel much stronger after doing 2 weeks of insanity. I can only imagine what it will be like after 2 months.

I spent all weekend watching the Olympics, it has been great! I didn't do much exercise just alot of screaming, jumping up and down, oh yeah waving my arms about like a mad woman. I didn't lose any weight but I didn't gain either.
I am pleased that I managed to lose 8.8lbs in July, I know August will probably be a slower month.

8/9: Um.. yayyyy!! This week's loss was a total shocker! I haven't been to the gym in more than a week; been busy clearing out clothes that no longer fit anyone for a yard sale next week and my son's high school marching band has had band camp all week. So it's been up at 6:30 am, take him about 8, bust my patoot until 3 when I leave to go get him, then it's dinner prep. For this challenge, I have to lose less than a lb for achieve it!! And I'm more than halfway to my ultimate goal!!

I'm in again. I've been on this challenge since Jan 2011 and it has been great motivation and a great checkpoint each week. This should be my last challenge losing weight, then maybe one or two more to maintain.. Everyone here
