Roll Call June 2011 Exercise Challenge!!!

  • How much do you want to exercise a month? 
  • How can you push yourself out that door when the last thing you want to do is go to the gym?

  • Pick a goal and work towards it!!! 

    What is exercise you ask? 
    It is whatever you do over and above your normal everyday activity. If you start taking the stairs instead of the elevator due to your wanting to improve your health this is exercise - if you park further from the door and 
    walk extra - this is exercise. However if your work requires you to be on your feet running around all day - this is lifestyle and not exercise and should be added to your "activity level" in your account. I think its important for you to be honest with yourself so you will truly get the benefit of this challenge.

Yoga, last night. Had the wife and both kids with me!

1055/2000  ... trying to go hard and get my minutes in nice and early this month ... going on vacation last week in June and won't be doing anything more strenuous than sunning my buns on the beach ... the most exercise i plan to do is walking from the ocean back to my lounge chair so I've gotta make my minutes before then!  Laughing

Was up north at my parents and only managed to get in 65 minutes on one day of added exercise while gone, but I am back home and ready to go again.

Would have lasted at least twice as long, but even while doing laps and other water exercise the chilled breeze was too much, Brrr!

Went to my strength training session and had a cool down walk. I need to get some heavy cardio in this week.

33 minutes of step aerobics :)  Catching up to where I should be right now, and should make some good progress in the next couple days with warmer weather allowing me to spend some time in the pool.

Had strength training and rode my bike for an hour.

940/1250 got a good shot at it this month, even with a 4 day exercise doubtful trip coming up
