I have been off the Dr. Pepper (regular, not diet) for a while now. This is a big deal for me. I hope to get off even the diet by the end of this summer. I love the banner! I can't wait to be a winner!!

I can't remember the last time I worked out so hard. I'm walking about 6 miles a day and doing water aerobics for 1 to 1 1/2 hours each weekday morning. I'm sore but feeling GREAT! I'm keeping my calories around 1200-1300 a day.

6/27 - Going on vacation this week. I'm taking my walking shoes and weights. We'll see how I do away from home.

This is BAD!!!  I had 7 extra people in my house for over a week.  Sleeping here, cooking here, eating here.  And the worst of all, drinking beer here.  They are all leaving tomorrow so I hope all returns to normal after that.  We will see next Friday.  Good luck to all of you!!  Hang in there and keep up the great work!!

Total to date: +1. Bleck! My weight was even worse Thursday! Yesterday was rediculously full of picnics and I didn't do particullarly well at negotiating them. I was really unhappy to find more summer clothes that either don't fit or look terrible. I intend to become much more serious about my choices and exercise this week!

Update June 19:  This morning I weighed in at 175... my "floor" that I've landed on a few times.  I'm REALLY trying hard to break through for tomorrow morning's weigh-in!  Until then...

Update June 20:  Still 175, so I didn't break through the "floor" yet, but I did well for the week plus got past last week's gain so that overall change for the challenge is a loss not gain.  Now, next week's goal:  172!
