Hi I really hope someone out there can help me,
Ill keep it short. I read an article here called 10 simple rules for a healthy life.
Rule no.3 was eat chocolate ie. dont deny yourself the foods you love.
So heres my problem, i have a total fix on chocolate and would nearly go so far to say that i'm addicted (even though its been proven in studies that its nott possible to be addicted to it.) So I decided to give up chocolate totally just over a month ago which for the first time I havent found too hard and have stuck with it.
However after reading this Im thinking should I start incorporating small ammounts into my diet again hoping that logging what I'm eating will keep it at bay or will I just stay off chocolate as I have been doing?
By all means feel free to add it in small amounts if you feel like you're going to lose control and have a chocolate binge if you don't get it in some form, though for me, when I was eating properly I did find it easier to avoid foods like that altogether because if I had a piece all I could think about was when i was going to get another one. An alternative to that would be to buy it in the portions you'll eat it in so there's no chocolate laying around the house calling our your name.
