What is going on?!!
Are you now on birth control?
I experienced this when I started taking the pill while underweight and ED plagued. Apparently they provide the body with enough of the hormones needed for the whole uterus shedding to happen or whatever but not enough to regulate it as a 'normal' cycle.. Or so it was explained to me (I'm an artist, not a doctor as you can clearly tell).
um...NO, definitely not. I got mine a few times when my BMI was still low. I'm not sure why it happens, but it doesn't mean you're fine at all. How much are you eating right now? I was also getting mine every few weeks for a while in recovery but now its sort of gone back to normal. You need to keep gaining, especially with a BMI so low. Your ED is telling you you're fine, but I think you probably know better.

I'm eating approx 500-700 a day but will occasionally eat 1200 maybe once a week. (still very disordered) I have been maintaining this weight for a few months now I haven't gained anything yet maybe 1kg but it is more fluctuation I think.
1200 calories is still a weight loss amount. The lowest anyone should be eating.
If you start eating more, your periods will become more regular. It happened to me to. The first week I had it for two days and then two weeks or so later I got it again.
Hi Lilcarty, sorry to hear you are struggling. I just need to ask you if you don't feel ready to gain now, at BMI 15, Honey, when WILL you? -- (Ignore what your Dad said. Some parents are utterly hopeless at this kind of thing...)
You know that 500-700 is around 1/4 of what you need, and that the return of your period is just a red herring - mine came back at BMI 16, but I had to persuade myslef to keep going. osteoporosis is still ravaging your bones if you are very underweight, period or not. Focus on getting well again.
You know the drill - 2,500+ calories, no exercise, get to BMI 20+. C'mon, it's time NOW.
