depression, weakness/lack of energy, poor memory, lack of concentration, brittle nails, constipation and bloating, tooth decay and gum damage, dizziness, fainting, headaches, growth of fine hair all over body and face (very unattractive), thin hair that falls out in clumps, low blood preasure, heart palpitations, HEART FALURE, anemia, osteoporosis, KIDNEY FALURE, low potassium/magnesium/sodium, periods stop, more chance of miscarage if you manage to get pregnant, bruising easily, dry and yellow skin, and you get cold easily.

And this isnt even all of them. Anorexia is very dangerous. This is just the tip of the iceburg. There are so many side effects of Anorexia, it is not fun. You could just fall down and die at any moment.

Not to be crass, but check out the stickied Stargirl213 thread. Nice girl, about 18 or so, really helpful around here, tried hard to recover but straight up died from complications via anorexia.

So, it happens, as much as we don't want to admit it, people do succumb to this disease. Its easy to assume it won't happen to a CC'er, trying to be healthy and all, but there are legit serious side effects from anorexia/eating disorders. Not to mention all the mental, emotional, social, and financial(!!) side effects (MISERY!).

So, if you can stop yourself please do so. And if you can't, seek out someone who can help you get better.

this helps :) thanks ! :)

I had pancreatitus from malnutrition and had to be fed via a PICC line in my neck, it was so painful. I also have permanent liver damage, I can't drink alcohol and have to get weekly blood tests to check my enzyme levels...
