Meal plan ideas for food allergies
I think I am allergic to peanuts, nuts, and soy, I also do not eat any monosodium glutamate, high fructose corn syrup, shrimp or pork, does anyone have any suggestions on what would be good to eat and easy to make? I just found out that vegetable oil can have peanut in it. I would like some ideas on what to eat as far as a 7 day plan - or any links you guys can find because I have looked. Any suggestions? Thanks all.
Try using coconut, sesame seed, avocado or grape seed oils for cooking, most of these are readily available at grocery and health food stores. You might need to look in the ethnic or health aisle for them.
Whole grains such as rice, quinoa, cous cous. Lentils, beans of all varieties. Proteins that you don't have an allergy to such as chicken. Fresh herbs, fruits, and vegetables. Typically a bit of salt, pepper and fresh herbs is enough to dress good foods.
The side effects of allergy medications keep some people from using them. Natural remedies can be a great alternative, but some are more effective than others.
