Is it normal to gain two pounds or so when the weather gets drastically warmer??

I'm so used to cold weather (I'm from MA) and now that it's in the 70s and 80s, my body feels puffier and the scale shows roughly a 2 lb weight gain when I've been sticking really well to my meal plan....Is this normal?

2-7 lbs fluctuations within the day, or the week or each month are all normal.

Usually if someone finds such a small shift worrisome, there may be an underlying restriction eating disorder spectrum at work.

You have nothing to worry about, and if you are unable to stop worrying about it despite that assurance, then you might want to investigate cognitive behavioral therapy treatment to address the underlying anxieties around weight gain.

Thanks so much for the response!

I actually am in therapy for eating disorder recovery (EDNOS, not anorexia or bulimia to their fullest extents)....I'm just used to having the same weight, and I guess the minor change came to a bit of a shock :/ I only weigh once a week, which is fine with both my therapist and dietitian
