Quote  |  Reply

Hi, I was just wondering at what age does your body stop growing. Because people keep telling me I need to eat more because I am still a growing girl, but I'm 18 and feel like they are just full of bologna! Am I: a growing teenager or an adult??? Please help me out..Oh and at about what age do you stop getting taller, etc....

Your body stops growing (maturing) at about twenty-five.

Your height depends on many things.  Genentics and your nutrition and some other factors.  I have seen two cousins shoot up twelve inches in three months.

After twenty-five your body still changes.

Feet for some reason still grow after twenty-five.

Between eighteen and twenty-five you will notice that your rib cage will expand and your hips will widen.

at 25 as my doctor told me...so since I'm 27 i need to fight a bit harder wt losing the rest of the weight GAH!

heh my hips are barely at 84 cm circumferance and I'm 27. not that i mind it lol since i was fat before 25  i really don't know if they did widen or not

You're still growing, just not nearly as much.

I had my major growth spurt really young so I thought I was done at 5'7.  However last time I went to the doctor I grew nearly an inch at nineteen years old, and seeing as how I'm still a good 6 inches shorter than the rest of my family, hopefully I'll keep on growing.

in terms of height for me, i stopped growing at 13, sucks you know.  i'm only 5'1 too.

Not All Processed Foods Are Created Equal
Fact: a diet containing whole, fresh fruits and vegetables is one of the best for a healthy mind and body. Although true, it can be hard to keep food fresh at home for longer periods of time, and if you have no time to shop every few days, boxed and canned foods become appealing. We often hear about heavily processed frozen dinners and processed foods worth avoiding, but there are minimally processed foods that do pack a lot of nutrition and may be worth having in the fridge or cupboard.
