Upper right back pain on shoulder blade
Upper right back pain on shoulder blade, hurts like mad when I take a deep breath or when I bend over... I had a chest infection... are my lungs located behind ur shoulder blade?!
Maybe you can see a cairopractor (I am not sure if I even spelled it right)? I get those pains sometimes too and my older brother helps me out because he said if you are miss-aligned it can cause discomfort and he is one.
Maybe it is worth looking into? I know when I get chest infections and cough a lot it throws me out of wack.
When you say chest infection, do you mean something like bronchitis, pneumonia or the likes? Or an upper respiritory infection (basically a chest cold)? I had a bad case of bronchitis when I was in college (I was prescribed codeine to take at night, just so I could sleep throug the coughing) and my upper back was sore for weeks afterward.
Maybe you pulled a muscle if you've been coughing a lot?
I don't mean to alarm you, but the symptoms you describe can also be signs of a Pulmonary Embolism (PE), which is extremely serious and deadly. (A PE is a blood clot that has moved to the lungs.) I recommend getting yourself to a doctor ASAP to have it checked out. It may just be a pulled muscle, but better safe than sorry!
well the doc said last week it was a pulmonary infection and now i just have lots of pain down my back too. I didnt take all my antibiotic either just 2 days of it instead of 7!! Plus I went back on cigarettes about a day r two after being to the doc.... could it be I havent shifted the infection? I dont have a cough...

Never stop taking an antibiotic earlier than the doctor tells you.
Go back to the doctor.
I know bt they were making me feel really sickly and awful and by the 3rd day I was beginning to feel better so i stopped... I was so nauseated, dizzy, lightheaded, paranoid, anxious and sleeping badly cos of them... if im still feelin crap 2m ill go back cos it could have been the way i slept too
Then you should have contacted your doctor and seen what they advised.
I know Ive been stupid!! Im so run down at the mo, I feel crappy - spent a week off work sick and cannot be out again, I just want to pack it all in and hide under a rock for the rest of my life!

Could be liver/ gallbladder or lung cancer----------but that is worst case senario so dont freak just go to a different doc for a second opinion. I was having severe pain in my right shoulder blade and it was from my liver
