If you're eating healthy you'll probably just pee out the vitamin - but, obviously 1000 cal isn't enough. Your body needs at least 1200 to function well.
my problem is knowing what to eat to make a 1200 a day diet??

Vitamins are controversial so I would recommend you ask your physician what is best for you. But I take 1200 mg calcium+D (caltrate), a one-a-day, and Vitamin C. I am iron-deficient-anemic so also take 65 mg iron though I don't do it consistently.

I agree, even though you are quite petite, you should try to eat 1200 calories a day.

Don't do a 1000 cal diet because it's unhealthy.  1200 is the minimum as everyone says.  Eat your 5-a-day fruit and vegetables, get some wholegrains, lean protein and unsaturated fats and you don't need any supplements on top.   Most vitamins pass straight through the body and unless you are actually ill, pregnant or very elderly they are a total waste of money.

im petite also (5'2") and i agree dont go below 1200 calories. if you slow your metabolism then youll lose slower-eat lost of veggies and fruit, lean proteins, tofu, dairy, healthy fats...if youre having trouble getting up to 1200 then add a serving or two of healthy (raw) nuts theyre so good for you, and tasty! a banana is also a nutritious and easy way to add 100 cals to a meal or as a snack.

i cant really comment on the vitamin-you should be getting everything if you vary your diet enough, id imagine.

also, add healthy exercise in as itll help along with your goal.

good luck!

You need:

Vitamin A (5000 IUs)

Vitamin C (2000 mg)

Vitamin D3 (1000 IUs)

Vitamin E (400 IUs)
