What's your all time favorite weight?
Just for fun-post your height and a weight you've been at one time in your life you felt healthy, happy and really great about yourself.
Mine is:
5'3"-110
Go! :)
Reason: Locked - please see moderator response
Right now! 5'5", 154lbs, 34 years old. I like right now because I know that I won't regain the 30 lbs that I've lost and I can do everything I want to.
I am 5'8', lw- 92 (first bout of anorexia, just a little thing then!) hw-probably now, 140 BEST weight- 130 :)
5'6.5"
lowest weight during disordered eating was 108, before that all started I was 135-140. I felt pretty comfortable at 116, but I secretly wish to be back at 112 (**slap on the wrist**)
right now I'm back up to 120, and hope to stay around there for a long while.
5'11 - 145 pounds. I currently weigh 133 pounds. I have to be very careful. I lose weight very quickly because my body maintains on 3,000 calories a day (doctor said I have a ridiculously fast metabolism). I remember having muscle and I looked and felt my best at 145 (actually that's the most I've ever weighed). My worst weight: 5'11 - 123 pounds. I hated being scrawny and skeleton-like. Especially being a guy.
When I started college I was 5'5" and 130 lbs. And I thought I was fat and hated myself...30 lbs later I'd go back in a heartbeat. :P
I'm happiest now at 5'3 and 105lbs, could be happier though...
6lbs seems so close but yet so far away
The weight I am happiest at is the one where:
My hair is not falling out
My period is regular
My bra is filled
My bum is curvy
My skin is glowing
My muscles don't hurt
My bones don't creak
My heart doesn't flutter
and most importantly, my weight doesn't matter.
THINK ABOUT IT.
Some of these posts are ridiculous.

You summed it up beautifully!
I'm 5'3 and I'm most comfortable anywhere's from 105-115. My main goal is 110 though. Not too skinny and not too big. Perfect for me and most of all NOT underweight or overweight and gives me some room to gain weight if I eat a little badly for a couple of days. Or if I lose a little weight due to sickness. Muahaha. :P
Nice poem Lala. ;)
5'4", 125 lbs. RIGHT NOW.
A year ago I was 118 lbs, but I was hardly happy. Salads and diet sodas did not make me happy. My weight is not my happiness.
5'1 and 90lb, heaven.
Justice, how is 5'1 and 90 lbs heaven? I'm a tad taller (5'1.5) and weigh maybe 5 lbs more than you and have a slew of health problems I'm dealing with, most due to too low of a weight.
Mods, is it possible to lock this thread? MANY (not all) are "pro-ED" weights (saying their happy at <18.5 BMI weights)
i was healthy. my immune system was perfect, i was never sick, and slept very well. i was very alert and not tired at all. so people are naturally at that weight. i gained weight but eating too much junk when i tranferred college. do i necessarily have to explain myself? i don't think i have to be apologetic about anything.

5' 3" here and I cannot think of a time that I have ever been happy with my weight even as a child. I had sister who was tiny tiny. She was 5 years older than me but from about the age 5 on I was bigger than her. So I had a constant reminder that I was a fat kid from my very skinny older sister. In middle school I was a fat kid, in high school I was in shape but still big in the mid 150's.
Now that I a happy with my life, my diet, and the fact that I am complete control over my the food and activities I do, I really feel like I am going to succeed at finally getting the weight off and keeping it off for good.

This is so me, in feeling at least. I'm 5'7" and have never been really happy. My happiest was 135, but certain things in my life were making me unhappy at that point, and I was a lot shorter then.
112 - 114 lbs at about 166 - 167 cm tall, it puts my BMI at almost 20. ( 19.something )
I have large sized D cup breasts, curves and look feminine yet slim, toned but not too muscular. I feel like I look like some body who enjoys food and enjoys life and does exercise they enjoy and can sustain, instead of being TOO hard on myself.
I have been a lot thinner and I was a lot less happy. I was less happy with myself when I was thinner.
Also, PLEASE DO NOT post if your BMI is 18.5 or less, because that makes you medically under weight and it is stupid to post that on a website that promotes “ health” and it is unhealthy to aspire to a BMI of less then 18.5. People who wants a BMI of less then 18.5 should go and read some of the information on this website and educate themselves about what is healthy.

borderline underweight but I have a very small frame and it wasn't from lack of eating, I was just getting a lot of exercise and really fit.
This is also my exact ideal. I am 5'11" and 149 with a medium frame and just look lean and tone. I've been eating about 2000 calories (+) at this weight and haven't been gaining.
I'm only half considering losing to 145 before I wean myself off of calorie counting...in case I have trouble adjusting. But it's kind of silly because at this height, +/- 4lbs of fat is not noticeable.
Huh. I could tweak that to a poem if I wanted.
However, what has been said here is right. A sad sad fact here is that about 90% of the goals here are underweight. The physical dangers that come with being underweight are numerous. You put yourself at risk of osteoporosis, of loss of fertility if you lose your period, hair loss, electrolyte problems, a weakening of the immune system, low blood pressure, blood disorders such as anemia, heart problems, and even death. The mental woes that come alongside can be just as devestating. Depression is common in the underweight, as well as distorted perceptions and problems like Body Dysmorphic Disorder.
