Going away for a week with my friend's parents...ahh!

Quote  |  Reply

This Wednesday I'll be leaving for the beach and will be staying a week with my best friend's parents, my best friend, and my other close friend.

I'm worried because a. They don't really exercise besides basic walking, and b. They don't have the best eating habits. It looks like I'll have to settle for walks and maybe push ups and squats or other basic body weight exercises for exercise.

Any tips?? Should I bring my own food, like maybe protein bars, to have on hand as well?

I really don't want to gain weight...

This trip should be fun! Try not to stress too much about food/exercise/weight. I know it can be hard, but it's important to not lose sight of being in the moment/connecting with your friends and family. If you want you can bring some protein bars just in case, but I think you'll be fine hun! Have fun! :)

i can see why this would be a bit of a stress.  but remember this is your best friend.  perhaps you will just have to be really honest with them and when you go grocery shopping and stuff and everyone gets to pick a "treat" or so, yours is going to be fresh fruit and cut up veggies,  just dont comment on the way they eat... set an example ... and your 17, so if you want to buy some stuff while your there  buy enough so you can share with them.
