I am 14 year old boy. I weigh 130 pounds (58 kgs) and I am 175 cm tall. I was told I had a eating disorder few months ago. But now I have started eating more. I practice basketball 4 times a week. But I am not sure how my macros should be. It says I should be eating about 290 grams of carbs per day, but Is that not pretty much? Also is my weight alright? And how many calories do you think I should consume to maintain if my weight is alright?
Eat when hungry. And if you're not hungry, eat anyway.
your bmi is the low healthy range I believe. have you seen any medical professionals for your recovery?
I'm female, 176cm and weigh a healthy and comfortable 65kg.
You need to stop worring about food, eat and gain weight!

Yeah I am trying to do so :)
By no means am I a doctor or a nutritionist, but generally speaking, until you hit about 18 or 19 your body is still growing. As long as you're eating when you're hungry and trying to be sane about it, you should be fine. Just be sure that on days when you're active, you get plenty of protein and extra carbs and calories. If you're feeling tired and don't have a reason to be, you're not getting enough of these. If you feel healthy and don't get tired easily (and do be honest with yourself), then you probably shouldn't force feed yourself, I'd imagine that can lead to some poor diet choices later in life. Also, make sure you're getting all the vitamins and minerals you need - the more you can get from your diet over supplements, the better.
Some people are just smaller; my mom was perfectly healthy but she was skinny as a rail for most of her life. Trying to "fatten up" has resulted in her metabolism crashing, and now she's really working to get out of the obese category. So, as long as you're not starving yourself, I wouldn't worry too much about it.
P.S. - For your age, your BMI is spot on. You're at 19 - which is right in the middle! ![]()
