2012 Friendly Weigh-in Thread for Maintainers!

Hello, Maintainers.  Welcome to the "2012 Friendly Weigh-in Thread."

We will post our weights once each week throughout the year.

This thread is for people who are maintaining their weights or who will be in maintenance sometime this year.  It is not a weight loss or weight gain thread as such; but certainly most of us do not stay in our weight window every week of the year.

If you wish to put your general goal weight in parenthesis that you plan to maintain such as

"Paladin (172):....... ..172.6........174.0.. .... 172.2..........172.8" 

feel free to do so.  Or state what your average maintenance goal is for the year, and I will put it in.  This is optional, and you do not need to post it.

You may change the weight anytime during the week if you feel the one you put in is not representative.  Also, you may skip putting in a weight for a particular week.  You can just type in xxx for your weight, or I will do that if you don't weigh-in for the week.  If you skip 8 consecutive weeks, I will delete you unless you let us know you want to keep posting.

To post your weight, just copy the last posting showing all the weights and add your weight; or just post your weight and one of us will include it in a posting.

I'm still hoping there's a good deal of Christmas/NewYears food&water weight that'll drop off quickly, but I still expect it'll be Spring before I'm back to maintenance.  Ah well, it's not as bad a gain as last year and that's something...

Paladin hope all is well with your family.  Saw your note on the last thread...

I'm at 149.6.  Goal weight this year is still 148.  Hope to get back there sometime soon.  Feeling completely gross after the holiday eating that seemed to last forever.  Went back to the "regular" exercise routine today.  My legs feel like they are made out of lead!  It's not going to be easy getting back into the swing of things but I know I'll get there.

Anyway, looking forward to a brand new year.  Happy maintaining!

Thanks, jenkcheng, for the kind words.  They were very lucky.  They are moving slowly, but they are moving.  I have yet to weigh-in for the New Year --probably won't until next Monday at the earliest.  Good job on starting up the exercising again; I did the same thing today.  It felt good.  I think you behaved better than I did!

Finally found this new 2012 thread. Today is Tuesday, heading back to work. Happy New Year to all!

Happy to report that the weigh in went fine after all the holiday eating. Whew!

Shane, hope your OD and BF are doing better each day.

Great job, jenterline!  Maybe I will weigh-in later this week. But probably not!  LOL!
Thanks for the kind words.  They are recuperating, but home and being taken care of as far as the little things.

I'm just so happy that it stays the same! :) Makes me feel like I can trust my body more to do what it should and I just need to eat well and do some fun work outs and it'll be alright. I used to have issues with trusting my own body and now I am really happy I stick to my goal of getting better and maintaining instead of losing. :D

Lala: You are 2 pounds below your target weight.  We are hoping that is a healthy weight for your age, ht, wt, and activity level.  One thing I always worry about is if someone is not eating a healthy amount to maintain.  I think your BMI is around 18.5.  120 would put you closer to 19.  That is definitely still at the low end for a woman.  Anyway, nice meeting you. Hey shane_paladin, (Is Shane your name, btw?)

I weigh myself every day once every morning and it's 118 in the morning. :) By the time the day is done + all the food and stuff, it normally goes to 120 or 121 so I guess it's fine. I am also working towards eating more and eating healthy most of the days - thank you :D

Lala and mrswilsonscat:  Thanks for responding.  I certainly did not mean to sound nosy or to pretend as if I am an expert on anything about dieting.  Almost two years ago I was encouraging a gal who was posting on a thread I was on -- then I found out she was way under eating.  I trust you two to know what is healthy.  We love having people join us on this thread because it helps all of us to be part of a team and helps us maintain.

I go by Shane, Paladin, John, or Master and Commander of the Universe -- whichever works.    LOL!  Well, maybe the last one is a bit much.
