I recently have lost some weight. I am currently 6'3'', 180lbs. I was at 210lbs about 4 months ago. I did some research on how many calories I needed a day to lose weight. All the cites said that if I wanted to weigh 180lbs, I would need about 2300 calories a day. That seemed like to much to me so I went 500 below that and was eating 1800 a day until I reached the weight I am now. I was also not doing any exercise either. I used to exercise everyday, but that never helped me lose weight so I switched to a food diet, and that did the trick. Now that I am down to my goal, I want to maintain my weight at 2300 calories a day. But I'm afraid I will gain the weight back as a result from my increase. But at the same time, I am confused because it says to maintain at 180lbs I need 2300 anyway. So what should I do? I will listen to anyone.

It's very important to have a healthy diet AND get some exercise in. You can increase your calories and maintain your weight if you're burning calories
