Nice one :) But I do want to say that in the thread I started, you don't have to count your calories rigidly there either- just be sure you are having above an agreed minimum.

But this place is great for those who want to itemise their exercise :)

.

Yeah its good for there to be somewhere for everyone :D

So I shall get the ball rollling :)

B- Bowl of bran flakes with jumbo sultanas & raisins and milk, milky tea and advent chocolate.

S- Apple.

L- Ham sandwich on wholemeal bread and grapes.

S- Bowl of bran flakes with sultanas and milk.

T- Bowl of homemade lentil soup with 2 thick slies of fresh white farmhouse bread spread with butter, 4 cocktail sausages, ham, cheddar cheese, rocket and a slice of M&S quiche lorraine.

S- 2 homemade iced ginger cupcakes and a mug of milky tea.

No formal exercise- walked to and from school ~45 minutes

Well, we don't ask you to put any calories at all on your plan- just to point that out.

Anyway! Onto this thread-

Hannah, you and me with our homemade lentil soup- I ADORE it! Do you make it and if so, what recipe do you use? And do you make the cupcakes or your mum? They sound fab!

Raspberry- my mum makes the soup- she doesn't use a recipe just guesses quantities etc and puts it all straight in the pan- I love it :P and I make the cupcakes, I really enjoy baking! Do you make your soup?

.

hannah, I make my own soup, although it's based on what my mum used to make for me when I was a child :) I am like your mum and just add it all in roughly, then blend it up. I add red lentils, tinned tomatoes, stock, celery, carrots, onion, garlic and spices. I think that's it! I do it by eye, as I've done it so many times- perfect for winter, isn't it? :)

beth, your ricecakes with pb and pear sound like a gorgeous combination :)

Raspberryrose; just whent out on anotherc student night. Just came in and had 13 jelly babies :) yum! Beth.. Your eats look lovely btw :)

Today I reached my calorie goal, yay! I did absolutely nothing today and I had the urge to cut my calories drastically, but I didn't. I feel proud of myself and I know no matter what, our bodies need food! So, today I had....

B: Kashi cereal with raisins, ground flaxseeds, and almond milk

S: Kashi blueberry waffle with peanut butter

S: Almonds

L: Egg white omelette with onions, bell peppers, broccoli and spinach

S: Quaker Multi-grain Crisps with peanut butter

S: Kiwi gummy candy (treat/dessert)

S: Chicken spinach wrap

D: Ground turkey sandwich with pasta sauce and cheese with asparagus on the side

Tomorrow I plan to workout, so I'll eat even more...I can't believe I'm maintaining on this much food.

.... i'm guessing this was the content of the messages that were all removed...?

ahh i'm not ready to do this yet (cut the rigid counting). :( but i will miss you guys if you're not posting on the other one!

.

beth ... sorry for being slow - i don't get it- is the only difference the lack of calorie limits and posting exercise? Oh well. Either way I don't know which one I'll post on.

Neltuneliel- yay well done- so jealous of all the kashi brands from the US!!!

Beth- I so love the snacking and all the fresh fruit! Love your variety too!

Raspberry rose- yeah we use pretty much the same stuff- lentils, onion, leek, carrots and stock and voila yummy soup :P
Jsw- yeah those are the main differences- the calorie limit and the allowance of posting exercise.

Thanks everyone for the explanations and sorry for all the confusion - I worked out the reason I wasn't understanding what I was reading. Turns out I was getting a migraine and that messes with my comprehension a bit. And because of that I've taken medication for it and I'm going to bed :). But I'll be posting here, because I think it would be better (for me) to move away from the counting rigidity and into a more normal way of eating.

I started my sweet potatoes diet the other day. This is where I plan to get my carbs.

B: huge granola and cranberry bar, apple, dark chocolate (2 squares)

S: fiber& chocolate bar, coffee

L: scrambled tofu with avocado and carrots in a wrap

S: chocolate mc sunday (Yum yum), mcd fries

D:brown rice with red beans and peppers (weird combination, i know)

S:hot chocolate

Not my healthiest menu, but still delicious:)

geo-Hi :) lovely to see another poster with an  extreemely tasty sounding meal plan! You can introduce youself if you like? I'm Hannah, 17 from the UK and trying to maintain my weight after recovring from anorexia. p.s. same goes for anybody else too :)

I;m geo (Julia), also 17 :) chocoholic, but also trying to mantain and tone XD

This is just a 'check-in' ... but, I thought that I would drop a line on the maintenance thread (even though I am not participating in it - so, huge apologies for 'butting' in).

Please use this site and thread respectfully. I know that any kind of eating disorder is hell (and I've really had that T-shirt) but it can create (yes!) weird, competitive thoughts internally and externally. Check out your intentions for posting your thoughts ... it is so easy to fall back, once weight- restored. And it's YOUR health, at the end of the day that will fail, if you DECIDE to relapse.

In essence, please make sure that you are fully committed to maintaining your recovery and thus, ensuring a solid foundation for the life that you have to lead ahead of you. There are numerous articles 'out there' on how much energy one needs to live, grow and blossom ... seek Hedgren's advice, for example.

Take good care, lots of love, SSxx

Ps. I am posting this on the other maintenance thread too.
