I'm only asking because for the longest time we had our scale in the upstairs bathroom that my parents and I share. But I kept walking into the bathroom and seeing it in the middle of the bathroom, which just got irritating. I don't want to see it all day and be tempted to weigh myself, there's no reason it should be in the middle of the bathroom :| So I picked it up and put it in my parents closet, I just got annoyed with seeing it all the time.
Where do you keep your scale?
My bedroom closet! :)
We keep in the master bathroom, because it's the 1st thing I do in the morning. =)
Ha ha this post made me smile. This has always been my biggest fear when starting exercise programs. Its the need to weigh myself. I didn't by a traditional scale. I use my wii balance board (don't know how accurate it is) and that works fine for me. I only weigh myself when ea active prompts me to which is about once a week which is just fine for me.
I use the Wii board as well and it is in my daughter's bedroom.
I like weighing-in -- since it's one facet of my hobby of diet and exercising and all-around recording and researching about eating and living healthy.
So I keep my scale just outside the doorway between my TV/Nap/Exercise Room and the room where I keep my chin-up/dip tower and my heavybag/hanging ab station.
That "weigh" I pass it several times a day and usually hop on just out of curiosity.
bathroom cupboard. I still peek every morning, but only post my weight every Friday morning.
We have three digital scales in my house. One in each bathroom (on tile floors) and one downstairs in the dining room (on flat wooden floor). Digital scales really suck and depending on the surface they're on, the readings can vary +/- 0.9 lbs. This variability use to drive me to despair . Never knew what was going on with my weight loss program.
I now weigh myself daily on each scale and take an average. I only weigh myself in the morning (right when I wake up) and always in the same type of pajamas. The scale is a tool that helps keeps me honest and validates all my hard work. I try not to freak out about the outliers unless they stick around for 3 days. I don't hate the scale anymore just wish the technology was a bit more reliable.
I keep my scale hiding in the hot water heater closet in the bathroom, but seriously thinking of putting it beside refrigerator! lol
I am trying really hard to recover from anorexia and other eds after 29 years and find the scale fluctuates 4-6 pounds daily and I fear the scale and the number so I took the batteries out of my digital and gave it to my husband and threw out my other one. When I did this at healthier points my weight was around 128-132 at 5'4" with curves and a 34DD.I only got weighed at doctor appointments and even hated that.
I weigh myself each morning before I work out. ð???
